For me, I just want to be entertained and I find this series entertaining. I don't really care if some people thought it was a GOT rip off or not. Clearly, some of the speculation surrounding this series may have bothered you or you wouldn't be here talking about "facts." However, hopefully, if this series wasn't your cup of tea or the speculation surrounding the series ruined your ability to watch- or enjoy- it, you found many more series that were suitable.

Having seen GOT, I did not get the comparison at the time between the two. Totally separate, created Worlds IMO. Maybe I missed seeing the dragons flying around in Arthdal, lol.
I watched only two episodes and I like it so far, they didn't disappoint. The costumes are quite shabby, compared…
I cracked up that people complained about the weapons, etc. not being historically accurate as this is not "true, actual history." This is a made up, created world. As such, they can put together whatever mash-up they want. The entire series is entertaining for me.
I hope our ML's agency isn't dropping the ball. No upcoming series for this actor listed. Hopefully, he'll get a role in another longer costume drama like MJTY. He oozes sex appeal the way Tan Jian Ci does in Lost You Forever.
Looking forward to Zuo Ye's next project. Hope there's more info soon. ZY blew his roles out of the park in My Journey To You and The Snow Moon. A triple threat: singer, dancer, actor/model.
While the male leads may have a relationship that could be called "brotherly," many people say, "BL! BL!". If…
You sound like you believe in "To each is own." since you noted this was your personal opinion. With China banning a lot of BL series and many series having ambiguous endings, there is probably more of a tendency for people to read into a series what they want it to be.
As the years go by and technology improves, the CGI / stunts in these Novel series are more exciting to watch. The stunts by the Zhang Qi Ling character were very well done. A lot of action in this one and not much pre-setup to the exploring. A plus in my view.
I read up on it afterwards as I was surprised as well. The site said she was only a minor character in the Novels to begin with - I wish she could have stuck around longer.
This series is in the bodice-ripper genre with violent undertones. It's not for everyone. I enjoy a bodice-ripper story every now and then but others will be abhorred by the violence in these types of series. You are forewarned.
How did the ML even fall in love with the FL? I just saw it happen, but nothing really leading up to it. Love…
From the episodes I've seen thus far and the looks on his face in response to something she's done, he appears to love that she's forward, feisty, doesn't hold back and says what she's thinking, something he's not experienced in the women of the ancient period he's from. It did happen a little fast though in my opinion.
Love all the supernatural and creepy crawlers! They keep going deep into the pass. And it looks like our antagonists…
It shows the quality of this series that a story line where, basically, sand plays one of the more important roles in the series rather than tomb raiding is this entertaining. I think YLX will win him over as well.
