Im not sure if that was supposed to be an expensive car cos he was hiding the fact that hes rich?
Ahhh I don’t know cars that’s why I said expensive looking because it was to me but yeah in the first minutes of the drama I had no knowledge he was hiding status but a flashy car should have flashy tires 🤣
When looking at the quality of the subtitles, it usually goes Viki, iQIYI, WeTV (I'm not sure if this will hold…
Thanks! When A Splendid Match was airing that’s how I watched, iQIYI for soonest episodes but I got so hooked I started rewatching using Viki. And found Viki’s translation to be off a bit where I always thought they were the best of them all. I was afraid it might be AI generated sadly.
Not good when I a have a gripe seconds into 1st episode! Hahah I notice little things like Why are the wheels on the “rich second gen”’s expensive looking car DIRTY. Where’s the wet shine detailing that’s usually seen on those kinds of cars? If they were going for a close up, why no spiffy look? Is that a signal of a downfall or what?
Sorry for mini rant, I watch alone and get tired of talking to myself hehe
I think some actors really need constant acting lessons and classes, like am watching this drama and one thing…
The female lead CHARACTER zoned out because of flashback right? What kind of facial expressions should that be? She “zoned out” because he was rebuking her and she went gray rock to protect her already damaged psyche? What kind of face do you make when someone is berating you and you have no defense? The female lead ACTOR nailed her part.
I thought the whole “surround them and close in” fighting scene was so well done! Music was great too. And the lighting was good too, wasn’t too dark to see what was happening. Very good choreography. And without too much Wuxia which I’m not not a big fan of. I usually fast forward through fight scenes but actually watched this twice!
Dramas are very subjective. There is no right or wrong. Either you like it or you don't, and that is perfectly…
Horror? Not my genre at all 🤷🏼♀️ Legal drama? Nope, not for me. Xianxia? Goodness, no! Revenge drama? Bring it on.
Everyone is different. That’s why it’s wonderful that we have so many choices.
If I find I’m curious about why a certain drama is highly popular I’ll try to watch even if it’s not my genre and have ended up loving some I might not have watched otherwise. Even critically acclaimed dramas I sometimes wonder whyyyyyy do people like this? Anyway, if I feel fomo, I’ll watch the first and last episodes to get over that 🤣🤣🤣 I really find that I’ll watch a genre I don’t like just because I want to see more of an actor’s filmography. I’m not good with listing titles or actor’s names or else this comment would’ve been much longer.hehe
So Yeli has DID. Maybe she doesn't have schizophrenia. Even QingShuang is her. Ohh my God.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can strongly resemble both Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and schizophrenia. (Thanks Google) This is my theory and I’m sticking with it. DID and schizophrenia are treatable but not curable, PTSD is (sort of, can’t erase memories but response to them can go away.) I feel their love will heal each other.
Episode 10 Oh, here comes the mandatory cliff fall scene. It looked so bad, though, seriously… There’s a scene…
This was one of the worst cliff falling scenes I’ve seen. That was a very very very tall looking cliff during the fall with a lot of tree canopy below. Then while they were looking where the snakes and shoe was found - no trees? I think sometimes dramas just say Oh that’s good enough and then go with it. Some cliffs were they land in water ? Obviously would have hit rock on the way down. I’ll give on one point. She’s apparently a martial artist and must have Wuji Qigong to aid her and protect her.
The more someone is loved the more the unloved crawl out to cry Not Fair Why Not Meeeeeeee

I can now use any of the apps listed above but which is best?
