I've seen her in the more recent SMTOWN & colab stages/MVs but I had thought it was just a different make-up technique. But with a drama & closer steady close-ups I realize she must of had some things done in the last 2-3 years.
I have a vivid memory of watching a music show live(on stream) around 2015ish & seeing a girl group that I didn't recognize & thought they were a new rookie group. That was until I read the group name in the corner. Every single member looked different, drastically so, from their previous comeback. To the point all of their charms were gone. I felt really sad about it. They were beautiful before & looked unique, but now they just looked like everyone else in Gangnam. Recently I've been seeing this happen more & more with Idol actresses from 2nd & early 3rd gen.
Angain they are all still beautiful, I just miss what made them standout, but I guess what was considered a flaw to them.

He is giving her space as her ex never did. Also he feels like he could never truly have her anyway because of his future death, and possibly wanting to take her fate for her aka being murdered by MinHwan and SooMin.
Like his sister said, his default is robot. He is suppressing his emotions so that he can react calmly to everything & is letting JiWon work through her emotions. He's witnessed her shutdown when overwhelmed & doesn't want to cause her more pain by overly pursuing the issue/misunderstanding with her when he himself doesn't yet know how much of a threar YuRa will be to JiWon. If he knows how psycho she is aint no way he's going to be hanging around JiWon painting a giant target on her back when the lazer is already locked & loaded.

First thoughts about ep12....trauma responses are a real bitch.

I haven't seen BoA in a drama since I think 2010ish, in her Athena cameo. I saw her in episode 11 & thought 'no, that can be BoA.' Then she spoke & i heard her voice & had an 'Oh Shit' moment. At certain angles she looks like the BoA that I have in my memory, but the little tweaks really changed how her face looks to me now. She in no means looks bad or anything, just different from what I had gotten used to.
I so torn, cause I loving seeing her outside of competition/variety shows again, but dear lord will I be glad when her character exits stage left.

Knight Flower is another one I'm really enjoying but for some reason everytime i try to sit and watch it in peace someone is either trying to talk to me or needs me to make them food. The death stare i sent my mom when, after explain who each character is & how they are related, she asked another question at a curcial part....🥹😒😮‍💨
They have fully pulled the uno reverse card on me now Im in my 30s & they're in their 70s. Mom if your lurking in the comments, you know i love you....🥰

This and 'A Shop For Killers' are the only shows right now that I'm watching that I'm 100% glued to the show & not wanting the pause to scroll on my phone or do other tasks.
I find myself kicking my feet like a little kid because some of the scenes are so cute. Then the next scene I'm punching my fist in the air like I'm watching an intense football match screaming "GOOOOOOAAAALLLLLLL" when another win happens for Ji Won.
Love it. If you are debating whether or not to start watching this just do it already. If you aren't hooked in & ready to throw down for JiWon by the end of episode 2, I dont know what to say other than this show just isnt for you. So do it, you know you want to. Your other "plan to watch" shows can wait.

So you're telling me, that the person responsible for the keeping watch on the drugs used on the patients during surgery and their vitals could "DECLINE" giving a statement in a medical malpractice investigation, that ended in someone's death and just disappear and NO ONE but the lead finds that weird? Really...REALLY? The anesthesiologist is the one who has to calculate the drugs going into the patient, and is the one to keep track of every up and down on the persons vital monitor....how the actual hell is he not the one on trail? If the blood lose from drugs is the issue it's not the one holding the scalpel's fault.
And no doctor is handling a medical vial that needs a needle without gloves on. I'm I dumb? Is that not a thing? Also if the drug was used during surgery why the hell would he un-glove to handle the smoking gun? The lawyers on both sides are dumb as a doornail.
Anesthesiologist are some of the highest paid doctors(people in the medical field please confirm or deny this) as they very little room for error. Again math and chemistry on a human in life or death situations.
I am at a loss.

Oh, well I've always considered idol trainees as idols even if they don't debut as one if the first thing I see them in is for idol debut(tv show). I even call Lee Jung Ha(Moving) an idol for the most part even though the poor boy can't sing or dance to save his life, because the first thing I saw him in was The Unit. They both had the "it" factor for acting(I don't care what people are saying about Yeji's acting, she's doing well to me) so to me they are idol-actors

it's the face shape & how he moves/speaks plus the hair style.

What doctor would leave finger prints on a vile that was used during a surgery? Like are the judges that stupid?

40mins into the first episode and I want to make a prediction.

I think that Jeong Woo's client/patient was never actually the one on the table and that it was a set up. The anesthesiologist was in on it as he would have been in the room when the patient was being prepped. The woman on the table had the same tattoo on her hand to make people think it was the same woman, but was actually a double . So either the woman needed a highly publicized death to hide from someone or it was to set up Jeong Woo specifically. Though I'm leaning more toward the former than the latter. The amount of security with the woman and the missing cctv footage of the operation all lead me to believe that the woman needed to disappear in extremely public yet private way.
Again only 40 minutes in but so this is just a hypothesis.

Praying for everyone's career after this one tbh. Cause we know all of them can do good even AMAZING work, but dear lord was this just not it.

I was really enjoying the production until episode 9. They introduced a female character just to kill her & make a male character care more about an issue that was already something to care about. This is what is called "fridging" and is a common trope in comics and male lead/written shows. The fact it was written by a woman makes my head spin.
I'm not dropping because I'm still enjoying other aspects of the show, but 'disappointed' is the best way to express my feelings on episode 9's ending.

As both leads are idols i'm going to go with yes.

Making this because it was hard to keep track early on on who everyone was in the Yin family. Lineal = child of first/true wife; Non-lineal = child of side wife/concubine
Some spoilers but nothing that wouldn't be found in a trailer for the show.

The 11 Young Lords of Xin State:
1st: Non-lineal; military, lives in another state fulltime; has a teenage daughter; good husband and father; only in a few episodes
2nd: Lineal; Crowned Young Lord; Manipulative, selfish, horrible husband, abusive, okay with harm coming to family members, kickass wife, side-wife/concubine is FL's best friend.
3rd: Non-lineal; conceited but not malicious...okay for a little bit he is but we like the idiot for the most part; has the most non-registered wives, honestly his wives are the best part about his character, all of his wives love and look after/support FL.
4th: Non-lineal, 2nd's lacky, manipulative at times, very good at greasing wheels and talking with others. Very politically driven, loves his wife more than anything else, wife is the puppet master...snakes the both of them.
5th: Non-lineal, older brother to 9th(i think this is right) & a younger unseen sister, a lovable idiot with a heart of gold, marries the princess from Mo State aka FL's other best friend aka warrior princess. He grows on you...like a fungus.
6th: Non-lineal; ML of the show, Intelligent, thoughtful and kind, hides his true talents to stay under the radar of others, not willing to harm his brothers to get a leg up, loves FL and respects and cares for everyone in his household. Strained relationship with his mother, older brother to 11th and his mother's adopted daughter.
7th: Non-lineal, quietest of the young lords, respectful little snail that doesn't wish to offend others, loves his wife who is just as kind and as slow about things as he is, injured leg that gives him a limp.
8th: can't remember, died when young, rarely mentioned.
9th: Non-lineal, younger brother of 5th, too young to marry at the start of the show/doesn't like the idea of arranged marriages, loving, helpful, and adored by his sisters-in-law and his 3rd,4th,5th, 6th, 7th, and 11th brothers. ep40 has one of the best scenes with him and 10. normally found helping out with 11th or helping one of his sisters-in-law.
10th: Lineal, unfocused, asshole, thinks he's gods gift to women...he is not, conceited in a bad way, 2nd's mini-me in the making. frat bro energy.
11th: Non-lineal, 6th's younger brother, under 10 years old, adorable, mischievous/naughty, loved by everyone.

The women and their relationships to each other are the true stars of the show, but I don't want to give away those plot point connections in this comment as I feel it's better to see it for yourself. Very progressive slow-burn family/life drama with romance as a major theme. Sisterhood and Brotherhood are the main points.

i noticed this recently too. it's really frustrating & im not sure what to do.

We'll find out next week for sure but all signs point to yes.
Spoilers below for episodes up to 6.

The entire property was heavily surveilled & fortified prior to the website's "security breach" & Jung Min showing up to "help out his old classmate's uncle". They watched him for days as he poked around. Jin Man has cameras on Jian, even at college, with Brother watching & keeping an eye out for her. Aint no way he would be tricked by a voice recording that didnt have his name invoked once.
Jian has never called Jeong Jin Man "Uncle" when frightened, only in casual conversation. All she ever has to do is call out Jeong Jin Man 3x & whomever is hurting her will disappear & Jin Man will come for her.

He "killed himself" in a room that has a tunnel leading out of it. There is time missing on the cctv recording in the bathroom from when Jin Man was talking to Jung Min as he hung from the ceiling. That would give Brother enough time to stage the bathroom with blood & have drugs for JinMan on standby to make him appear dead. JinMan has known connections within the community after saving many families financially. It wouldn't be a stretch if the police detective helped him fake his death & then dissuaded Jian from an autopsy.
One of the last things JinMan did was give Pasin a code phrase.
