I personally don't understand the divide between team AkHee vs Team Sajo Hyun. They are two sides of the same coin in my mind. They need to work together to be whole. To me, they are the same person at two different stages in their life after trauma.
I wish they would have shown that Wol cares for both of sides of the Prince/King as people have stated was done in the source material. Both Ak Hee & Hyun are guilty of sticking their head in the sand when confronted with something they are uncomfortable with...one drinks the other sews.

One is highly observant yet laissez-faire with his attitude, while the other is ambivalent & overly cautious with his actions needing evidence to bolster his opinions(using the book in court to keep track of everything). Both can ultimately be calculating & strong in their own way. They just have different strengths.

Korea has some of the best special effect make-up artists in the industry. & it appears that this show had a sizeable budget. So my guess is they are fake.
It's not uncommon for actors/performers to get a bit banged up from stunts/choreography, but im sure all hell would have broken loose if someone was actually asphyxiated on set enough to leave marks on their star. Even more so as scenes are not shot in sequence. There most likely would have been coverage(news or blind item) of any injury to a lead actor.

the cop being waaay to quick to say suicide & dissuade her from an autopsy. if he was working for Babylon an autopsy wouldnt have made a difference.
Brother constantly repeating that there is a plan/plams in place for this & he trusts Jian's skills because JinMan trusts her skills to survive.
we see that JungMin was not so subtlety looking around the warehouse & house right after they experienced a security breach on their system. 🧐

Jeong Jin Man went fishing. Someone bit on his line, Jung Min when he hacked the site. He is an extremely patient man. He couldnt get to Bale so he is bringing Bale to HIM after making his home a fortress/kill house.

it was the faked illness on the mountain with drugs that kind of sealed it for me. But with an added whole ass tunnel that leads directly into the bathroom....puh-leazz...Like Brother isnt already setting up failsafe contingencies the second Jung Min showed up on their doorstep? Right after they had a firewall breach? Aint no way, aint no fuckin way.

Only real moral message is don't kill just for pleasure or be a psycho.

A few things to support alive theory:
1. Large tunnel leading from where Brother is to the bathroom.
2. Drugs used to fake illness in a previous episode.
3. Filling the bathtub with water(most men do not do this) and it would hide the amount of blood lost.
4. Jung Min not witnessing it firsthand and no double tap confirmation.
5. The glitch in the camera feed in the bathroom prior to Jung Min walking into the bathroom.
6. The cop being dodgy about an autopsy and quickly taking care of the "investigation". Also I'm not sure Park Gwang Jae, the bus driver for the funeral, would only come in for that...I need to see him fight. I can't tell if they focused on his character because it was just a small cameo or if he will come back up in ep 7 or 8.
7. Multiple contingency plans in place for years if something like this was to happen. With Brother confirming that Jeong Jin Man has faith in Jian's skills to survive.
8. The cameras in the warehouse catching JungMin days before he comes with a voice recording that not once has a scared Jian calling out Jeong Jin Man's name.

Yeah, personal opinion, all signs are pointing to staged death to bring out all enemies to one location once and for all. Aint no way that man is leaving his niece alone to take down Bale. Everyone else he has faith that she could make it. Even gave her a ripcord with the extra exit strategy. She hasn't called out Jeong Jin Man three times yet. Until she does I don't think he will interfere before Bale himself shows up.

Think of this like a movie trilogy not a series. Also a lot of British shows have short limited series like this that have a similar pace.

I wonder if they will take the time to show more of Min Hye and Brother being taught/trained by Jeong Jin Man while Jian is still young.
I feel like ep 7 we'll get the Beetlejuice summons "Jeong Jin Man, Jeong Jin Man, Jeong Jin Man" and he'll finally enter the chat in the last 5 minutes or so, saving episode 8 for any final back story needed for the finally battle.

Yeah, I think this was the only way to get all of his enemies in one place at the same time. Not to mention get Bale out from whatever rock he crawled under. He knows that when Jian is actually scared for her life she wouldn't call him Uncle, but Jeong Jin Man.
I just don't like how everyone but 3 people are down to follow the psycho that would rather kill you than save you. Yeah you might survive the mission, but if you so much as step out of whatever box he puts you in you're dead. They just must be psychos too.

We have an entire movie's length of time before it ends so I think if they want to they could wrap it up nicely in a little bow for us. But they could also want to have more seasons as is popular with US/Korea co-labs. Either way I'm personally good with it, as this isn't dealing with as much post production as say 'Moving' needs, so it could be produced slightly quicker. The only issue would be the actors schedules all freeing up again, unless their contract had a multi season clause.
I think they can pull it off with 2 episodes left as I've seen more accomplished in less time.

The longer time passes the more I think that he faked his death with the help of the cop. The fact that Jung Min didn't see it happen nor did he double tap to be sure he was dead makes me think it was staged for him. We see in episode 5 that there is a tunnel that leads directly to the bathroom. Brother would have been able to see Jin Man on the cameras and gotten everything ready for him. Fake blood to fill the tub and drugs to make it look like he was dead.
He sent a coded message to Pasin after listening to Jian's voice recording over and over again. He must know it's not really her, as he would know her speech patterns better than anyone else. And if there is one thing we know it's that when Jian is truly afraid for her life she calls out Jeong Jin Man NOT uncle.
I feel like she's going to have to summon him like Beetlejuice before we see him alive in current time. Yeah, after watching episode 6 there is no way in HELL he would leave her to Bale. Nope, I refuse to believe Jeong Jin Man would leave her to that psycho. I have officially boarded the Delulu Express, all aboard bitches, toot toot.

i dont know if they are life lessons so much as assassin lessons, but it is entertaining.

might as well start before it ends so you can appreciate everything before knowing how it ends. i havent read the webtoon, but it appears they have changed a few things. but Park Ji Hoon is really great in his dual role.

half way through the episode i thought i was going to need a slap counter 🤣

she all like "but i did what you said, why are you upset?" & his deadass silence as he just drops a half a gallon of ice cream into her hands 🤣🤣🤣 and the pièce de résistance was him stabbing the spoon in it. 🤌🤌brilliant
