Jeong In leaving Ji Ho would be totally out of character for her and I don't want to think that they will shit on the characters and stories by going down that path.

I can totally understand! This drama is truly magical as it managed to make me invested in not only the characters but also the actors LOL.
Not even my 10/10 dramas had made me this crazy (well, except for Healer but that's a given xP).

unlike some other entertaining shows that you watch every week and then forget about them, OSN dominates my thoughts for the entirety of the week ugh the power of JeongJi couple.

I am kinda digging how Jeong In's dad scoffs whenever GS's dad passes him by LOL. I don't think parents are going to be that much of an issue. Maybe the next two episodes will focus on the JeongHo couple's internal conflicts, which I am totally down for. (Also, that annoying insect Gi Seok will continue to pester them but I can't be too bothered about him anymore haha)

Yeah, I am extremely happy and satisfied with the way they dealt with the mother thing. The viewers, along with Ji Ho, got the much needed closure concerning that aspect of his life. The Mom plot point isn't necessary to the story they are trying to tell anyway so good thing it was handled this way.
And, yeah, it'd be smart to not trust the previews since last episode's preview also made everyone think that Mom would be back to create mess but the complete opposite happened.

It's very rare for a drama to hold my attention like this, and OSN has been consistently doing it since episode 1 lol

One hour feels like 10 mins whenever I watch an episode of this drama. I get completely immersed in it.

Well, the show has been sub par ever since the childhood connection was revealed so I don't really expect a mind blowing ending anyway

Idk but L doesn't have much range. I liked him in Miss Hammurabi but somehow he forgot how to act in this drama. He only has like 2 expressions on his face, one where he does that weird side smile thing and the other one where he makes a serious face when he gets angry/sad. That's all lol
That said, the drama is still entertaining to watch. 7.5 so far for me.

The only way to get a happy ending now is if she dies and becomes an angel and Dan doesn't become a human lmao

Maybe because all the people around her kept telling her how "great" of a boyfriend he is so she felt pressured to stay with him, or maybe she thought that all relationships get stale after a while. It could be anything, really but it's only when she met Ji Ho did she [finally] realize that she wasn't satisfied in her current relationship and wanted something more fulfilling for herself.
