One of the things I love most about this remake is that there is no break up and no large time jump before the…
I couldn't even finish Something in the Rain because of all the abuse and toxicity. But I'm really enjoying this version.

It can be a good drama if one doesn't see the original. Otherwise average, but the best thing here is they improved…
I dropped the original because of the amount of abuse, mistreatment and toxicity. This version I am actually really enjoying because it is much less darker than the original.

the dad can go do one, somehow he is worse than the mother in the korean original
Well, he's a million times less toxic than the mother in the original, BUT he nags nonstop.

I understand how important this movie is in terms of its message, but I'm still really surprised that anyone thought it would be a good idea for a child to play a role that involved full nudity and sexual assault. I suspect it would be illegal today for such a movie to be made.

I really enjoyed this. Gina Jin played a similar role in "Falling Into You", and I enjoyed her in both of these dramas. This is a light, easy and fun watch with plenty of feels and little angst, which is what I like in a rom com. Gin Jin is beyond gorgeous, and Wang Zi Yi is eye-candy for the ladies (and gay guys too I suppose).
I've read some comments that criticised Wang Zi Yi's acting, and I diagree with those comments. In my opinion, his acting was perfectly adequate for the role.
The other thing this drama got right was the ending. I've watched so many dramas that I loved, but felt that they didn't quite get the ending right. This drama (for me at least) nailed the ending perfectly and left me very satisfied. I love Noona romance stories, and this is one of the very best I've ever seen. 9/10 from me.

I watched the original Korean drama (I Can Hear Your Voice) a couple of years ago and enjoyed it, so when I discovered this remake, I thought I'd watch it. Contrary to what some other commentors below thought, I actually enjoyed this version more than the Korean original. I especially enjoyed the comedy acting of Qi Wei in the first half of the drama - she's really funny. 8½/10 from me.

Love and Milk just seem so comfortable with each other. This is in part because they are good actors, but they also seem to have a natural chemistry. When I watch them, they look like girlfriends, not like two actors playing girlfriends. They genuinely seem to enjoy working with each other - those smiles are not fake.

Got through 4 episodes before dropping it. Although the acting and cinematography were exceptional, the storyline was just a soap opera. This one's not for me, although obviously I'm in the minority if the MDL rating is any indication.

Yes, the scene where Lu Zhaoxi made Ye Shilan jealous is childish. But he acknowledged his mistake, regretted…
I'm fine with imperfect characters, including characters making mistakes, or even acting irrationally (especially if emotional). But if a behaviour is so out of character to be completely unbelievable, then it creates a plot hole - and plot holes are always the result of poor writing. There is no way I could bring myself to believe for one second that someone as intelligent, mature and responsible as Lu Zhaoxi would plan, and then carry out such a juvenile act.

Yes - they will need to cut a LOT from the second half of the novel. I'm also curious what they leave in.

Anything wrong with Chao?
Once again, you're just simply wrong. Anueng NEVER considered Nueng anything remotely like an Aunt. The novel makes it very clear that Anueng fell in love with Nueng at first sight, and after secretly stalking her for two weeks, finally worked up the courage to approach her as a paying customer. Anueng then relentlessly persued Nueng, as shown in the story of "Blank".

Anything wrong with Chao?
You're just wrong. Nueng met Anueng FOR THE FIRST TIME a few weeks prior to the start of episode 1. But that is a side issue. YOU accused Chao Planoy of writing about and defending pedophilia. As you have clearly demonstrated, you don't know what the word means, because Chao Planoy has NEVER written about nor defended pedophilia. Your false accusation is straight up libelous. If you hate Chao Planoy and/or her work so much, why are you here in the comments section of a drama based on HER WORK. Why don't you find a drama that you ARE INTERESTED IN and add some comments in there. As I've already said, if you don't like her novels, don't read them. If you don't like dramas based on her work, don't watch them. If you don't like age gap dramas, don't watch them.

So I was correct - you DON'T know what a pedophile is. There's this thing called the Internet that you can use to look up the meaning of words. That way, you won't look uneducated when you use a word incorrectly. But to save you the effort of looking up the word yourself, I'll help you out. A pedophile is a person who has a sexual interest in a CHILD. In the novel "Blank", Arueng is 18 years old. If you think an 18 year old woman is a child, then I can't really help you.

I'm pretty sure you don't actually know what pedophilia is. But feel free to prove me wrong by explaining which of Chao Planoy's novels she writes about pedophilia and where she has ever defended it.

Man fuck chao Planoy but this looks great. Just hope they don't go down the cheating route
If you don't like her novels, don't read them. If you don't like dramas based on her novels, don't watch them. It's quite simple actually.

I also just started the show and have watched 4 episodes as well. Li Xun's character irks me too but I'm curious…
I also hate nobel idiocy in dramas, so I guess this drama might not be for me. Also, I would dispute he only hurt her in Ep 23. I only watched 4 episodes and his treatment of her would have, at the very least, lead to humiliation.

lighter and princess is the best drama i have seen so far...at the age of only 22 what they have potrayed literally…
I dropped this drama after 4 episodes because I could no longer tolerate the male lead mistreating the female lead, and her "doormat" like behaviour in continuing to be interested in him after his mistreatment. So, what about this drama did you like so much that you consider it the best drama you've seen? When did the male lead stop mistreating the female lead, and did the female lead ever stop being a doormat?

It was aired 2022, still I am re watching it. I can't stop myself to ship them and re watching it. Trust me ,…
I only watched 4 episodes before dropping it because the ML's mistreatment of the FL annoyed me too much. And the FL's continued interest in the ML after he treated her poorly made her look like a doormat in my eyes. So, why do you love this drama so much? How long does the ML mistreat the FL for? If you're willing, please give me a reason to reconsider this drama.
