You are very well informed concerning what goes on with those two in China. Amazing!
I figured. It's a petty move on their part because they could be prospering at a great rate. Instead, they continue to let their stars be in poorly written dramas. Take Bambi and Zhang Bin Bin. They only just recently begun promoting them properly after stalling their careers for a good while now These studios waste such a good roster because they can't diversify their resources to their rostered actors..

I heard the same too. I love that her personal studio are handling her affairs and protecting her. I knew there was something up because promotion of her has been carefully and strategic handled lately. In the past, you are right. She wasn't given the best scripts nor many endorsements as she has now despite ranking in a lot of money for the studio. I reckon if she didn't gain popularity early, she would be with the rest of Jaywalk's talent. Which is sad because Jaywalk has such a promising roster.

It was a live commercial which was filmed in a store and fans were outside, all cheering and taking photos. I believe she did a similar promo event for Swiss a few months ago.
Filming usually runs against a timesheet so depends on the scene. Considering she is the protagonist, she probably went to shoot promo when she wasn't scheduled to be on set. Depending on how many scenes were shot and deleted, it would've been a very small window of opportunity. So negotiation with the studio/producers would've been crucial or advised prior to the commencement of filming. When you have a bit of weight to your name, it might be easier.
Indeed and they should be proud of her. She's on her way to becoming an icon. It helps that she has the right look and she's marketable. It's not an easy feat for an actress from China to have a collab directly with a brand with YSL when they released her perfume. She has worked hard to gain all she has especially since she's not Han Chinese. Yang zi has around the same pull in China as Dilraba yet I am always reading articles that high-end brands don't reach out to her which is a shame because I feel like she will up their appeal to audience in the midst of boycotts. I think she just needs a better team. On the strength of TLB's success, Zhao Lusi has just picked up promo work for Bvlgari and YSL's Capucine bag. Soon, she'll be in some decent editorials.
Usually, a lot of European brands choose Asian actors but they are always for the Asian region for promotion and not directly under the banner for their main brand scope. I noticed Western brands have warmed up to widening their promotional scope with Blackpink and BTS leading Celine, YSL, Chanel and Dior ads by storm.

Yeap, for the Kronenbourg 1664, she turned up to the event a few days ago and filmed the ad right then and there. The ads for the others were filmed previously. Filming commercials concurrently with series is normal for actors especially someone who is in high demand like Dilraba. I guess this is always its just work for them sometimes. We tend to glamourise it but it it's hard work especially when its on a tight schedule. I saw her schedule a while back and it's jam packed. I like that she does both. It's a great way to continue momentum for herself and also her future works. She has some of the biggest adverts in Shanghai and other major shopping malls.
Sadly it does happen, sometimes without people realising. Take Mirror: Twin Cities for instance. When it was announced that the manhua would be turned into a series, Dilraba's name, along with Xiao Zhan, was one of the first names to circulate. Producers nor the broadcasting network made any attempts to clear up the rumours instead used the buzz to gain momentum for the upcoming series. Its being spearheaded by Tencent so I am not surprised. It's a good thing Jaywalk and Dilraba are starting to be more proactive with protecting her brand, as recently they were taking action against some brands who were using her name and image to promote their shit. And I am glad, they're broadening her cannon so she gets to work with a variety of networks!

She's done Colorcode, New Leaf and Colorkey in this short span of time. Then she's done more promo for brands she's already an ambassador for such as Kronenbourg 1664, Qina and Louis Vuitton Capucines bag.
Apparently she's scheduled for some upcoming work with YSL but that has yet to be announced hopefully it's true because her signature perfume with them was divine so fingers crossed!!!
Honestly I hate these drama rumours because they use her name to create buzz for their upcoming series then don't even bother to at least let her read for these parts. I hope that the Legend of Anle rumours are true because it sounds exciting but judging by the scriptwriters past dramas, he loves using his female characters as vessels for the heroic arch of the male leads.
Just wanted to make a quick shout out to the fandom getting Reba's past 3k. I believe she is now the most liked Chinese actress on here! :) Here's to supporting our iconic Queen.

Just saw Leo and Dilraba at a few high end events and both are looking amazing!
