Why is no one talking about the music here. If there is one thing I always like about the Netflix series, it's always the songs and pieces they choose.
Does anyone know all the songs used here or maybe a playlist? Since many of them were old, I have a hard time finding them all.

It is insensitive for you to write about lack of strength of female characters in a series that deals with misogyny in society, especially when women face abuse that marks them for life. The story is realistic, not all victims of assault will seek revenge or become anti-heroes as is commonly portrayed in fiction. There are victims who put their heads down while planning to end their lives. In real life, for example, in the face of domestic abuse, there are women who remain silent due to shame, manipulation, guilt.

If a dangerous event were to happen to your loved ones, would your answers be "I would have fought back"?

I don't like to see people being humiliated either, but they don't do it because it amuses them, there are psychological factors behind it.

every person who has ever been assaulted can tell you, that is 100% an accurate deception of someone who is an abuser. did you want a rapist in the bushes type of deal bc come on lmao.

If you paid attention to his background story, he is a narcissist due to his hate for women and the fact she was good at her work , he wanted her position. Also in many Asian countries women aren't treated fair , especially the fact she was single and known to keep herself to herself. So she was in disadvantage in that aspects.

Of course she bloody is. That was 10+ years ago when you met. She has lost her bio sister, her BFF, had 2 miscarriages, got banished, had to kill the man she loves, her family got punished and almost killed, has been constantly schemed against since she entered the palace and more. What do you expect her to be like after going through all that?

zhen huan just lost her child and is super sad about it (how a normal person would be?) and everyone treats her like she's crazy and the emperor, who "loves her dearly", is treating her like that...and on top of that he doesn't even try to reason and talk to her about her grieves...he just sleeps with consort an everyday...this is so terrible 😔 poor zhen huan

Oh, I didn't read the novel. I just watched the donghua which is available on YouTube. But yes, I feel the same about their relationship - exactly like "The Untamed" not as obvious as "Heaven's Official Blessing".
