Even though I already saw some jdramas, I still can´t decide if i like this drama or not. The content felt really…
I think the production never intended to make this as something that will happen in real life or to portray real people behaviours. There're some indications they kept it developed in a fictional world. I don't know if you notice that even if drama seems to be in a modern world, everything that surrounded Kogetsuan felt old, as if they were living in a different time of space. No cellphone, PC, using candles to light a room, etc. But people at the streets were seen with earphones and the machines at the hospital all felt current. Also, their DNA certificate says they were born in 1999. If you search for the manga, you'll see that they stayed true to the original source.
What I like about Hamabe Minami acting is that it never feels like she's playing a character twice. You can easily differentiate all her roles so far. She's great at giving each of her characters unique mannerism.
You missed Wetv/Tencent website. The censorship guidelines on tv are a bit longer so I will share a few things I have read around. - Defamation of revolutionary leaders, heroes, People's Liberation Army, armed police, national security apparatus, public security apparatus, and the judiciary branch, etc; -Pornography and cheap taste: prostitution, rape, masturbation, incest, homosexuality, hentai, sexual assault, sexual violence, extramarital affairs, one-night stand, sexual freedom, wife swapping, prolonged or provocative scenes of physical intimacy; - Feudalistic ideology which is pseudoscience: spirit possession, reincarnation, witchcraft, etc. - Showcase excessive horror, psychological pain, hysteria, causing strong stimulation to senses and emotions with uncomfortable pictures, lines, music, and sound effects, etc. It would be nice if someone does a historical 101 and talk about the social structure in ancient times as it defines how the characters behave during the drama. As you see lots of complaints from people imposing their modern belief in historical dramas and that's the reason why some situations don't make sense. Also, Don't expect youth dramas that are developed in school to have great kissing scenes or heavy romance. In China, they spent the majority of their high school days studying for the Gaokao. So dating is frowned upon. Parents and teachers will always say high school students shouldn't date. I agree Chinese dramas synopsis are not reliable. Trailers are always the go-to if not, you'll be confused for a great part of the 1-2 episodes.
This is an adaptation from a novel and it sadly ended the same way. I don't think there's going to be a season 2. This drama went from fluffy/cute to melodrama real quick as if the changed the genre with a snap of fingers Sabrina Zhuang, Fan Zhi Xin, and Ma Xin Yu for rookies actors and first project they did well
One of the best e-sport drama indeed. I enjoyed a lot the comparison between both years and how they portrayed the setback these players went through before the e-sport industry became an official sport. On Douban, it has a score of 8.0 from 112,995 people which means it was well-received and I think is the best rated e-port drama to date.
I think throwing around words like pedophilia (defined as recurrent and intense sexually arousing fantasies, sexual urges, or behaviors involving sexual activity with a prepubescent child or children generally age 13 years or younger)or grooming (a person that tries to build a trusting relationship with a child or a child’s family so that they can sexually abuse the child.) around is extremely defamatory and even more when you don't have a full synopsis or a trailer just a piece of short information. Acting is acting, the job of an actor is to give life to a character from their age, mannerism, personality, and with a new personal background. The problem here is that this person is making it sexual, and being an actor doesn't mean that is a hook-up job so throwing those words around is extremely problematic and an insult to these artists Most Chinese dramas are pre-produced and filmed a year before the actual release. During the post-production time is just not only for editing, it also means that has to get the approval and a license from the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) to be able to air the drama as China controls everything that is seen on tv, cinema and heard on the radio. Here a little bit of history and the guideline of the things that will most likely get censored and will get cut from a Chinese drama. As not every country industry works the same. On June 30, 2017, the China Netcasting Services Association, an online broadcasting industry body subject to SAPPRFT and Ministry of Civil Affairs, issued a set of guidelines, signaling detailed control on all forms of audiovisual web content, including films. They explicitly prohibit the websites of the association's 600+ members, which include CCTV, Phoenix Television, Hunan Television, Dragon Television, Jiangsu Television, Zhejiang Television, Tencent, Youku, IQiyi, Sohu, etc., from displaying many things, including but not limited to the following: - Defamation of revolutionary leaders, heroes, People's Liberation Army, armed police, national security apparatus, public security apparatus, and the judiciary branch, etc; - Pornography and cheap taste: prostitution, rape, masturbation, incest, homosexuality, hentai, sexual assault, sexual violence, extramarital affairs, one-night stand, sexual freedom, wife swapping, prolonged or provocative scenes of physical intimacy; - Feudalistic ideology which is pseudoscience: spirit possession, reincarnation, witchcraft, etc. - Showcase excessive horror, psychological pain, hysteria, causing strong stimulation to senses and emotions with uncomfortable pictures, lines, music, and sound effects, etc. Also, if you want to know how drama production works with underage actors in youth dramas with sweet scenes, My huckleberry friends ( played the same age but in real life, Li Landi was 17 and Steven Zhang was 21 during the filming) or A little thing called first love are a good example. Wang Ru Ze/Lin Lai Tou and Cha Wei/ Hexin played the same age but have a 9-year gap in real life, she was a minor and their love storyline was well done and appropriated for her that was 16 when they filmed that; Angel Zhao and Lai Kuan Lin 16/17 in real life.
So I just finished episode 4. Does he realize that she’s the same person from his past? I can see that he likes…
At the end of episode 2, he realized that Qi Xiaosong (real) is not his former crush, and seeing Xiong Yifan and Qi Xiaosong together on the bus he recalled the time they met. In episode 3, he asked her directly who she was exactly and she pulled her hair behind her back saying does it looks familiar like this? so he confirmed she was his former friend. He knows her face, is that he had always thought she was a boy (present Yifan is really girly) and ended falling for her thinking she was a boy. (Remember that after he pushed her way on the rooftop after she 'hugged him' thinking she was boy, he sorted out his feeling and accepted that he had fallen for a 'boy'.) In episode 4, she asked him that if remembers her now and he said yes that is just that she has changed a lot and she was like I just redo my hair and he gave her that awkward smile 'just your hair' The thing is that unlike other dramas Yan Ke reaction is more of a shocked/awkward/confused person .instead of the typical "I'm relieved you're a girl and that I'm not gay now" bs that is always on dramas.
its my first time seeing her acting and i didn't find it that bad, it was fine. maybe she improved... and she…
For her story yes, with cameos from the others actor. I don't think they have stated the amount episodes per story. But I hope it's not more than 5 or 6 because then it will get draggy.
Is Moon rich or does she have good connections? I mean that girl can't act at all but ends up with main roles.…
GMM Grammy Thailand used to have a local channel and then they sold it. Consequently, They created 2 channels GmmOne and Gmm25. During that time, they also created the Gmmtv division to produce content for the younger generation, so when Ugly duckling perfect match aired( produced by Gmmtv), it was an instant success with the teens in Thailand, so Push and Mook helped the channel and the division to gain attention "put them on the map" in Thailand. Even Mook OST from Ugly duckling is still a staple song for the teens till these days. So why because she has helped Gmmtv get money and endorsement etc.
There has to be a backstory on her panic attacks at the sight of blood , right? They are not just there without…
In my opinion, her anxiety was never about the sight of blood. if you take into consideration that she was always fine in the presence of blood, as you saw when she treated a penetrating wound with all the blood she took out with a syringe or being around bloody injured people. Even the first time she had signs of anxiety was when she saw Seo Woojin open the cadaver with a scalpel. I'm pretty sure what she had was a type of specific phobia called situational phobia( in which an irrational fear of a particular situation causes an intense physical and emotional reaction) in her case, it was of being inside of the operation room in front of an open body and probably with the fear of failure and the expectations that she has to be perfect in everything her mom has put on her. She never wanted to be a doctor but did so to please her mother and to make her happy. Her mom monitored everything in her life even what she ate. She was basically her mom's living doll. Note that after the surgeries/procedures she did successfully, she always looked relieved and always say thanks to the patient for hanging in there.
It was a well-done drama. The story was quite interesting and different. The characters are really likable. My only issue was with the Amakasu An character that I don't know if it was Honda Tsubasa fault as an actress or is the character itself that felt a bit too bland/meh in contrast to the other characters in the drama. Igarashi is a great doctor, so it is kind of sad that he just wants to be a technician because of a promise he made when he was a child. But if it what he wants, so his life, his choices. On the last part when he explained to the staff the reason why I never felt more connected to them xD The camerawork felt different from usual and dynamic. OST of the man with a mission was really good One thing that I like about J-medical dramas is that they always have the tendency to not only give a dramatic performance but also to educate the viewers about certain diseases and procedures in the most simple way that anyone can understand. In episode one with the MRI procedure and the metal artifacts made me realize that nowadays people aren't curious enough and always deemed unrealistic/impossible a situation instead of questioning themselves why/how is it possible when the drama clearly shows a great knowledge of the radiology field. If you search for MRI compatible metals, you'll learn that most of the contemporary metal artifacts they use these days are MRI safe, you just need to ask your doctor or the manufacturer of your device what type of material they used to make sure before doing the procedure The image, however, will be distorted but and the person who conducts the exam needs to know about the proper setting of the machine to make it work. Maybe the show assumed this was common knowledge
I personally enjoyed their high school days more than when they went to university. The first part of the drama made me think that it was probably going to be one of my favorite youth drama but the second part and the introduction of new characters totally crashed that idea. Some of her university classmates/roommates were extremely annoying and so easy to manipulate. I have always loved how dramas portray the bond between roommates at university but this drama failed on making her roommates likable I like a lot the main couple, they were cute and when they finally got together they got cuter. They had natural chemistry. I also liked a lot Yao La and Zhan Yue as a couple. Sun Anning and Shen Chen Yang won the award of the most annoying second lead ever I think people don't know but this drama is an adaptation from a webnovel and to be honest, this ending is way better than the novel that has to 2 endings, one being tragic (they broke up and he committed suicide to give his heart to Shen Chen Yang so she could love again a be happier) and the other is a do-over just to please the readers with a happy ending
Is the cast list right? because in movie douban they still list Lin Yi and Landy Li as the main leads. And I feel like both actresses will be miscast if either of them ended up playing the lead role and the other the support role because they both have what it takes to be the female lead. Also, I see people hating Landy Li just because of a ship, that's extremely unfair. This girl started acting really young and is well known for being a great actress in China at her young age and well know with the general public, she was even listed in the Forbes 30 under30 list, so it would be a waste for her to have a support role in this drama. Either way, I hope them success and I can't wait to know who ended being cast because both of them are great.
This drama is going to form a weird love triangle, lol. I think they need to improve their acting., but overall the drama is cute. I'm going to say the missed the opportunity to make this a pansexual drama, but it's a Chinese drama... I tried to make some sense over the whole FL likes the ML and then suddenly stopped liking him and he also did the same with the teacher lol. Talk about depicting what is puppy love. For the FL, what I understand is that she and her friends used to see the ML as some sort of IDOL/GOD-like person that they only saw on the bus and from afar on their way to school, he had an unattainable image for her and her friends, so when she saw him crying, the deity image of him that she had in her head broke and was able to see his human/mortal side, thus ended her crush. It's like you fantasize but you know it would never become a reality because they're some sort of deity. Xiao Ruo is weird.
Probably an unpopular opinion, but I'm on episode 5 and still don't get why people love this drama to this extent. While I do really like the K&K boys. They're so cute and likable. I think the situations they put the FL are so cringe-worthy, so awkward and it feels like she lacks personality. it's not like she's dense but the script is making her look like that.
Similar to Xia Er, Chu Yin Yin was selfish and acted like a spoiled brat (before her amnesia). She wanted Xu Kong…
when he told her about that he had to work because he wanted to earn money for his expenses so he wouldn't trouble his parent, there was a pause there and Yin Yin looked at him in the eyes and asked him if he really wanted to go and he said yes because she's going and he wants to protect her. That was that made her open up about her real feelings of wanted to stay. To be fair, you can still have the benefit of the doubt that if he gave a more enthusiastic answer about why he wanted to go overseas, would think she would still say the same of wanting to stay? If someone telling they're having financial issues and feeling stressed over a something they're telling you that they're doing for you and to be with you, would you still make them to struggle? if you deep down think is not the right time?
Similar to Xia Er, Chu Yin Yin was selfish and acted like a spoiled brat (before her amnesia). She wanted Xu Kong…
In that conversation, if I remember correctly, he was telling her about how he would have to spend less time with her because he was going to start tutoring others student and that he felt bad for his parents and the money they would have to spend on him. He comes from a middle class background, his parent sold their extremely expensive gaming console (that's how his family makes money, they're gamer's and live with the money they make from competitions they participate) to make quick money so he could go to study overseas. So after they handed him the back account card, he felt extremely guilty and selfish that his parent had to do that and give up their passion and profession so he could go overseas. While is true that in the end Chu Yin Yin propose to Kong Ling to give up the scholarship, it wasn't an order from her part or expected him not to go. He was already telling her he was struggling and sad that his parent were stressed. You have to remember that he only wanted to go because he wanted to be with her because he's a fool in love. Also, with their grades it doesn't mean they can't get to another great college and prepare better if they go to study overseas in the future.
If you search for the manga, you'll see that they stayed true to the original source.
