After watching 20 episode , my despise for MZ is little less ; not because he is less of bad person but people…
Exactly, glad I’m not the only one. I understand why would people not understand him and brand him as pure evil but he is not if you don’t see him through our modern lens. The only reason MC is angelic is because the king clearly favours him and allows him to be idle (he is pretty useless). If he had been treated the way MZ was and had to fight in order to survive, he’d be just like MZ. The FL willingly chose to marry a prince in her first life, knowing the sacrifices and hardships. That’s also why she felt so guilty before the fire scene.
I haven't seen anyone point this out yet, but does no one else here feel a consent issue? He lowkey harassed her…
I think and hope that most of us would not condone this type of behaviour in real life. This would definitely be sexual harassment, bullying and assault. I guess we are closing our eyes because we know it’s fiction and because male lead is written in a way that makes him hard to hate as a viewer (we know he is now guilty and saves her, risked his life, genuinely loves her, etc). I wouldn’t be able to watch if he actually r** her like it’s often the case in thai dramas (makes me sick in the stomach). Finally, he is smoking hot which makes him de facto 50% redeemable in drama land.
this is awesome! Are there any other Cdramas like this? In this era and like this hate love relationship? any…
Too late to say I love you. But only if you like mature/don’t mind toxic relationships. This has the hottest and most realistic intimate scenes I’ve seen in this type of drama
What are you guys watching while waiting for new eps? Is there any dramas that have hot ML like this one?
If you don’t mind something a lot more mature and toxic, you should check out Too late to say I love you. This drama is WOW in terms of chemistry - one of the best and most intense. And Wallace chung is amazing, as usual
Even his hand flirting is HOT in ep 13 (and those big hands..). I know whom he reminds me of: 2pm Junho!!! They look like twins except he is taller and hotter.
The director knows EXACTLY what they’re doing. Making up the lack of budget by providing pure, unfiltered, unabashed and addictive fan service for thirsty female viewers (including me). This could literally be straight out of an idol’s wattpad story. I cracked up at the seal appearing only when he is excited. I freaking LOVE this lol
This is too short and too addictive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ML is HOT but surprisingly good at acting too. Same for the FL, she is not as annoying as I was expecting.
how you know that MuZe actually loves AnRan? cos he said so? on ep 2 or 3? i forgot the scene.well i dont believe..
He said it but even if he didn’t it’s so obvious that In I’m surprised people are even questioning it. That’s the typical hate/love trope of a powerful and paranoid man who needs to hide his feelings ao that people don’t catch his weaknesses. If you had any doubts let’s hope today’s episode clarifies things. The way he squeezed the sister’s neck to save her and how he looked at her when she was lying on the bed.
It was totally normal for kings to have concubines as they need to form alliances and have as many kids as possible.…
I disagree actually. You’re looking at them from your modern lens that’s why you are exasperated by his behaviour. Don’t forget to put things into perspective- if you are kind you are probably dead (you and your whole clan). I’m not saying what he did was right but he definitely wasn’t the tyrant you’re describing him to be. If someone who can threaten your throne (his brother) is openly opposing you, it means they are potentially going to rebel. Ninth brother was very naïve, he should have kept quiet. And he could have used her talents without marrying her. He is the king so she would definitely have to cooperate for her family’s safety. He is bad but he definitely loved her.
It's sad really. You can tell how much Xing Fei loved Muze in the past. She remembers all his habits. And understands…
It was totally normal for kings to have concubines as they need to form alliances and have as many kids as possible. Nothing to do with love - you can tell he loves her and he also made her queen (which is something unusual considering her background).
I'm so confused by Muze. It seems he's a bit more complicated than I thought. He does good things sometimes, and…
Because he loves her even if he won’t admit it. He keep on convincing himself that it is an alliance marriage but look at how he reacted during the fake wedding night when he thought she was eager to consummate (he looked happy), how he treated the concubine vs her when they were married, the jealousy towards his brother, etc.
From my opinion actually Mu Ze do love anran in the past, its prove when the minister want to over throne her and…
He clearly loves her, for me it’s so obvious. He just doesn’t think he can afford losing himself in romance as an emperor considering the threats. He just takes her for granted and expects that she will understand and support him no matter what.
