Why do I still want her to fall again for Mu ze!! I love 9th prince but he is so boring. Mu Ze was evil but I sort of understand why he was like this. I would love for him to redeem himself but it seems that she will definetly end up with Mu Chuan

Yes, the directing, pace and storyline are not great. This is sadly a disappointment.

Does anyone know why they decided to make Yoo In Soo look like an idol? I mean what is their rationale? He looks totally out of place compared to the others....very strange

Your comment is a huge spoiler! Come on darling, not eveyone watches the drama when it airs and you are literally revealing stuff that you could keep to yourself. You are being obtuse and stubborn. If you don't mark it yourself I will report your comment.

But this is a trend in all recent dramas I've been watching, not a one off. This is because Producers are greedy and so it requires filler scenes to make a drama longer. That completely spoils the experience for the viewer. I feel disengaged from a drama with too many filler scenes and unnessary side leads who won't bring any value.

This is not realistic, not even in day to day life. Nothing is ever perfect and you can't win everyone, no matter how amazing you are. You can strive for the best but this perfectionism mindset is unhealthy.

Another case of giving second leads too much screentime and putting 2 amazing leads on the backburner. WTF is wrong with directors these days. Don't they understand the majority of the audience watch a drama because of the leads and only a minority ships second leads!!!

This drama needs 100 episodes to satisfy the director's obsession with the second leads and at the same time satisfy the audience who wants more leads screen time. :)

Hard to compare the acting when the leads barely get any screentime to showcase their prowess. Dylan is actually a big surprise in LBFAD - great acting from him and the drama in itself it amazing IMO.

They are not overshadowed because they are not doing well but because the director is purposely giving them little screen time and chances to build chemistry and make an impact. They are giving all these countless second leads more screen time than the leads (for no reason as their stories don't add any value), which is extraordinary considering the calibre of the lead actors. Imagine Yang Mi acting in a drama where a lady who is supposedly a "support actress" is given equal or more screen time....her fans would go bonkers. I know understand why Yang Zi was so reluctant to film this drama.

The actress playing this character must either be ultra rich or connected. No other rational reason can explain this mess

The show is a huge disappointment. I initially rated it 9.5 and now dropped to 8 as this is becoming a joke. I didn't start watching this for the side characters, I was expecting the drama to be focused on the leads. The leads have barely any interactions.

The producers of this drama should be ASHAMED. They have really done the leads dirty. No one can convince me that some dodgy politics didn't take place behind the scene. Nothing can explain why on earth would 2 talented and highly popular A list actors would be given so little screen time and literally be overshadowed by second and third leads!! Script can be changed so it doesn't matter if the novel focuses more on the fish, directors can always change the script. Some of these second leads must have some crazy connections...and please don't start lecturing me about being "negative". I know most of us think alike but some prefer to put up a good front for fear of affecting numbers. The storyline and pace are all over the place - I'm not sure if I'm watching the same drama in the mortal arc. That;s how bad the storyline is - in other similar dramas (e.g. AOL, TMOPB), the mortal arcs always elevate the story and is well connected with the rest of the drama so it is totally doable. And people saying that we should just appreciate the "exploration/adventure" angle of the arc and not moan: are you kidding me? Do you really think that 90% of viewers started watching because they wanted to see the adventured of Yu Mo and the lady lamp in each episode? They sold it as an epic love story between two popular leads whom people were looking forward to watch (and the poster conveys this too), so this is what most of us expected.

Another thing I wanted to add. I love the freshness of the whoel cast!! I get tired of seeing the sames known faces in all the recent dramas. The casting director did a bloody good job as there are not many characters that actually annoy me, which is a big deal as usually I get distracted by really bad acting or annoying side characters. All the side characters act amazingly well so I barely skip their parts (which I usually do): the brother, the FL's female friend (she doesn't overreact for a change), the father, etc.

Ditto, I don't want him to become weak and sappy like the ML in Miss the Dragon. They managed to keep the fierce demeanor of the ML in Love better than immoirtality until the end (which I loved) so I hope they do the same.

CLAP CLAP for the writer and director. They really know how to build up romance, tension and chemistry. This is probably going to be the most epic love story ever as we are seeing them falling in love beautifully.

Yes, he is the weakest god of war I've seen in a drama. He also lacks charisma but that's my personal opinion. I loved the God of War leads in "Love and destiny" and "General and I" as they really looked the part, had that fearless charisma and were not the "flower boy" type.

I honestly find him extremely weak for a god of war. He constantly gets injured and he is no match to DFQC. In most dramas the God of War is at least a match to the antagonist, And I find him really naive and not particularly smart (he doesn't think strategically, he is pretty impulsive). He can't even spy or escape without getting caught straight away! No offence to the actor playing him but the character was really written to make the ML shine.
