The next episode: this is my secret, I have man boobs. She could have just said "I'm da-mi, your first love" wouldn't…
You do realise that this is a drama and that normal reactions don't apply to a K drama. It wouldn't be a drama if characters were sensible, pragmatic, with high EQ.
This is the Boys over Flower version of Too late to say i love you. Such a shame they really missed the mark by trying to turn a melodrama into some sort of rom com. The writing is so poor and although the actors can act, they are misscast - they literally look like teenagers trying to act grown up.
Many find her voice annoying but I think it's quite brave of her to ignore those and use her own voice, much less…
Ok but that's not good enough considering her seniority as an actress, the budget, etc. It's not about her but about the audience and what is best for the movie. But respect your opinion, I just personally feel it doesn't suit the character she is playing.
I really like SHK's acting. She tends to be underrated as people tend to focus on her looks too much. One thing I hope she would work on is her voice....she really should learn how to modulate her voice, she sounds the same regardless of the character she plays.
Because I'm bored and whatnot, how come no one bothered to mention that the FL was written to be such a mary sue?…
Agree, bored out of my mind. ML is just not ML material - not because of his looks but he just doesn't have the charisma and evil 2nd ML cannot act (he just looks crazy). I love FL but she was written very, very poorly..
They air 2 weekly eps most of the times and have always been like this, what do you mean?
I mean that this type of schedule is too slow for me (especially when compared to how fast-paced C-drama schedules are). I lose interest having to wait for too long in between episodes.
The beginning was super strong and fun but it's not getting really boring and awkward. As usual, C-drama writers can't help being extra and pushing the limits of ridicule. Now the concept of fake brother/sister is overused and actually vomit inducing (even if we know they are all faking or clueless it just doesn't make sense anymore to push that narrative).
I very rarely rewatch dramas, but I lost count of how many times I rewatched it. This is the most addictive drama I've ever watched. With barely any skinship/proper kiss, this will give you the most feels you will experience in this genre. Quite incredible and probably the result of a combination os little things that, mixed together, made it perfect: the FL's stellar performance, the ML's unwavering love, vulnerable and purest heart, the chemistry, a SML that played the perfect anti hero, the most exciting mortal arc, the CGI, the haunting OST...
I started because of PXR but she looks a lil different in here. I think she had a nose job. Hope it doesn't end…
I noticed her nose job too. What a shame, she didn't need to and it just makes her look unnatural. Actresses should really embrace their natural faces if they want to be taken seriously.
Why is everyone obsessing over the FL's beauty. I was expecting to see a goddess...she is cute but wouldn't call her beautiful. Her looks shouldn't really be the focus point. The weird thing is her ghostly makeup in each drama...why do they make her look so pale and cartoonish
