OMG what a shocking turn of events in episodes 9 and 10!! Things were so fluffy and then this happens. This might explain a lot about the vague synopsis.
Better late than never! Great article as always. ♥ What an eventful year. I think the most shocking for me were the Chinese Hip hop ban, Fan Bing Bing's arrest, and Dramafever shutting down.
This is kind of a gender bender. Chu Lu deliberately hides the fact that she is female from her classmates and teachers for an ulterior purpose. She could also be considered a tomboy or trans, but she wasn't up until she joined the school. There was an event that happened that made her change. It's still too early on to tell though and this messy writing isn't helping.
Looks like she's coming back with a bang, but is it too much too soon? I personally was never a fan, but I do think she should be forgiven. It's just the way she's trying to come back so quickly makes her seem somewhat greedy and like this crime didn't even happen.
Please tell me all about ep. 28 before I watch it. Since season 2 has started I thought I would give this a try..…
So they get together and everything seems happy. They vow to love each other always. Jin Nian takes An Hao to his childhood home where he lived with his mom. An Hao recognizes the house. Remember in the beginning episodes when Jia Mu's mom asks An Hao to deliver milk to her friend when An Hao was a little girl? That "friend" was Jin Nian's mom...meaning that the drink had sleeping pills in it. Jin Nian's mom died of sleeping pill overdose. She didn't commit suicide; it was murder. Jin Nian pieces this information together and pushes An Hao aside partly blaming her in his mother's murder because she hand delivered the drink. Both are in shock.
As for Jia Mu and Song Qian Si, they still are not together. She is with her "husband". The other girl who has a crush on Jia Mu tells him that Song Qian Si's marriage with her husband is real. Then she says she will give him her savings so that he can save his dad's company if he signs something....I'm assuming she wants to marry him. It's likely that he will agree to it.
Jin Nian's lady boss/coworker from the entertainment company joins forces with a mysterious man to form a new agency I believe. The mysterious man is most likely An Hao's mysterious online friend. His face is still not revealed. I'm guessing he's the 2nd lead in season 2.
Just reading the plot and tags and wondering how on earth this will get aired. They're going to have to edit and censor a lot...but then again if this is airing on Netflix as it's listed, I can see how they can get around the censorship.
I don't get how the FL is a smart and capable business woman when she works for her ex and then when she dumps him and falls in love with the ML it's like she becomes dumb and looks to him for advise when it comes to troubles with her new business. His expertise is medicine and SHE knows more about the business world than he does. wth.
Other than that this drama is cute and filled with cats. :3
I haven't seen the anime, but I'm excited for the live action! I can't tell if your actor picks are accurate or not, but I do love how you picked non "overrated" actors. Kang Ki Young does seem like he can fit the role. Same with Jin Ki Joo and Hong Bin. :) Off to watch the anime!
