SML character is extremely delusional. Wasted too much screentime on that character.SFL character is simply wasted.…
What do u mean by 2nd ML is extremely delusional?? Not gonna lie, he’s a cutie so he upped my interest in watching.
Also, Woah sounds like it wasn’t really your cup of tea! When u say that 2nd ML had more scenes with FL does this turn into a convoluted love triangle like Cheese in the Trap, due to giving him more screen time OR is just for the confusing backstory?

Very well put thanks for your response. To summarize basically “even though it’s flawed this show is still worth watching” is what I gather. I liked how detailed u we’re about both pros and cons. I don’t think that I’d give this a shot. Also, when you say “so slow that it’s starting to become frustrating” about the main couples romance, does that mean that even by Ep 14 they still haven’t confessed/are together?
personally, I found the beginning few episodes quite enjoyable and interesting. The main leads and Gwang Nam are…
Thanks for your response, my takeaway from it is that though this isn’t a masterpiece there’s enough “spark” there to warrant a watch. I’m an introvert as well so I shouldn’t dislike JiHo lol.

Can you expand a bit on what you mean when you say that it’s a “weird” drama?? I don’t mind childhood traumas and/or melo sadness because let’s be honest, at least one lead in most dramas comes with some childhood trauma, lol. Also, don’t worry if I do give this a shot unless I’m completely put off by it, I typically give dramas at least 3-4 eps worth of a shot.

So it sounds like you’re leaning more towards the finishing what I started category rather than the omg must watch side. If you had to rate it out of 10 where would this drama fall?
Also, it’s a little concerning that script-wise it’s a bust, lol. So what saves this drama from being dropped?
Going into it's last 2 episodes, do you guys recommend watching this drama??? I used to really like Park Min Young, but haven't quite enjoyed her newer dramas as much as some of her old classics. Is this show a "must watch!" for anyone that's seen it or more of a "mehhhh I'm just sticking around at this point to finish it..."?!
100% agree....once you are hooked you will never stop until it finishes and you will crave for more.
We’re in total agreement, I’d even go as far as to say that LLTG 1&2 is the best Chinese drama of 2022 for me! It truly is the whole package when it comes to acting, directing, story, and visual effects.
Funny enough he was my top pick for the male lead in this drama. Just based off scheduling/availability and this writers usual pick of the cream of the crop when it comes to top stars of SK for her dramas. If he confirms, I'll be bragging about this among my friends for being right! xD
Also, I'm still holding out hope that IU will change her mind and accept the FL role... the visuals alone would kill me! >.<

Exactly! I genuinely struggled in the beginning due to my frustrations with her family you can literally scroll down a few posts below this one and see my original comment, haha. But here's my next comment 1 week later GUSHING about how amazing this drama truly is after binging both parts! xD
Commenting on Part 1 so that any new viewers that aren’t sure about checking this out OR have watched the first 3 eps and considered dropping (like I did) to hold out because from around Ep 7 onwards this will turn into one of the best drama watching experiences of your life. Prepare to see fleshed out, well acted, beautiful cinematography, and steady non-braindead writing that brings together an amazing experience with the lovely characters of Shaosheng & Buyi. (Also, if SS’s family makes your blood boil in the beginning like it did mine… just fast forward their scenes and thank me later. xP )

Alright at this point after watching a few more episode, imma need one of you very kind viewers that's completed this (or seen further than me) to full-on spoil me on wtf happens to the mom and if she receives any kind of karma for her horrible treatment towards the FL???! Also, on a side note is Yang Yang (the cousin) a green tea, or does she stay friendly with the FL all throughout? *SPOILERS ARE APPRECIATED*

If I would be the one to describe it...It's action-packed, his character has a moral compass (atleast imo), the…
Got it, thanks! My understanding from your description is that this drama holds its own then, correct? Plot-wise, acting-wise, etc... there's an appeal to continue beyond having a favorite actor in the cast. Your description of "a shot of adrenaline rush each episode" definitely caught my eye, looks like I'll be bingeing this in a couple weeks! :)
I can't even express in words how FLIPPING excited I am for this to come out!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVED the original, and am trusting SK to make a decent if not *EXCELLENT* remake! <3333
I'm just putting this out there right now... if we have a Strong Woman DBS level love triangle in this drama my little heart might just shatter. This writer knows how to play with people's emotions in love triangles... just saying! >.<

I’m holding out until it finishes, and as an actor DO fan I’m interested to try ONLY if him being in it isn’t the only good thing, lol.
