Oh wow thanks for the thorough list! My favorite out of the songs would probably be One Last Kiss with Flavor of Life being a close second. Funny enough about the latter of the two it's apparently an OST for Hana Yori Dango my first ever J-Dorama... omg when I was scrolling through the comments and saw that mentioned I got struck by nostalgia similar to what the people were going through on the First Love teaser trailer page! Wow, I wasn't expecting that feeling listening to these songs today. Haha, thanks for the wonderful list and the addition of a new favorite singer being added to my rotation! :)
OMG you guys the leads had chemistry for daaaaays when they played the younger version of the leads in the drama "My Sunshine", I had no idea that they'd be paired together in another drama as the actual leads this time!! (Which I literally JUST rewatched!) For sure will be checking this out after more eps are subbed to see if they still have that magic spark! :)

Oh wow, thanks for such an in-depth breakdown as to the many MANY different reasons this drama is a big deal! I've got to be honest my background knowledge on anything Japanese media/entertainment related is pretty weak, but you've definitely peaked my interest in checking this j-dorama out.
I was listening to Utada Hikaru's First Love while typing out this response, it's a good song. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, the song just has a way of making a person reminisce about their past. :)
So I just came across the teaser trailer on YouTube and it seemed like everyone was loosing their minds in the comments… does anyone know why? I’m completely out of the loop as to why nostalgia-wise this is a big deal. (Zero hate intended, I actually really like Satoh Takeru!)
I think my favorite scene ever has to be the civil affairs bureau scene: Employee: “Divorce?” While staring at the two of them. Main couple: “No, marriage.”
I had to pause my screen because I was just laughing too hard to understand what was happening after that. xDDD
Really? I this was my first time noticing, but I digress this is one of the dramas that I'm really looking forward to coming out... hopefully (if the rumors are true) this year.
But then again highly anticipated dramas like The Oath of Love for instance had multiple false alarm release dates before it randomly just began airing. Ughhh I just got flashbacks of the many times I got my hopes up for nothing from that drama. >﹏<
All I know is that it’s now showing on the top upcoming shows on the MDL homepage, and “set” for a Q4 release this year. So… November?? *fingers crossed* I may have been a little overexcited in posting my original comment, haha.
This sounds exactly like the Chinese Drama "A Girl Like Me". xD
Not that I'm complaining because I remember liking that drama when it came out. Though, the eye candy of both leads definitely upped my enjoyment, lol!
