Well this is the same old issue in episode 11 that always happens in a dozen different variations: the sudden…
I am not sure most of us could survive 2 whole episodes of unbridled s*x ๐คฃ Especially given our current "conditioning*: most of the Thai shows so far were not going to KP's lengths (*cough*high five in "2gether"*cough*). From other "BL countries" we have not received a lot of "physical" series. In Korean ones until recently (excluding"Long Time no See" ๐ฅ) we at most could hope for "fish kiss" (see: "Color Rush"; and let's not forget established couple in "A Shoulder to cry on" that apparently followed manga strictly and hence no kiss ๐ณ). Japanese in that regard are mixed, as we can get anything from "End of the world with you" to "8.2 second rule"/"Kieta Hatsukoi" (not that I was not enjoying all of them). Taiwanese have sometimes good balance (erasing "History 4", step-bro r*pe storyline - they did step-bros in "History 2" as well but it was much better) and kisses are usually nicely done. All that said, I am all for the angst not to be so predictable to be always put in the episode before the last (good example is like how they did it in "Eighth sense").
That was tedious. I actually thought I was rewatching last episode and looked for Ep 4 - way, way too much flashback.…
The flashbacks should have been 100% from Patt's POV and not just extra snippets to the previous scenes for them to make sense. I agree that he wasn't kissing anybody. They hear eachother talking - remember how Patt was rehearsing his song? Or when he said that Tai looked cute? Tai also called him and asked for his name. Tai said that they can hear each other (or their sounds) regardless where they are as long as they "share rain", so no thought transfer (honestly that would have been a nightmare, IMO).
Yes, 2nd couple is surprisingly bad (they are fighting with the one in "Step by Step" for the one I dislike more - usually 2nd [and 3rd as well, see "My engineer"] is better than main but not here). Especially since Longtee seems to like Tai and Tian is such a brat.
I would like to know more about the remaining 2 brothers (one seems to be office worker by his cloths) and why the parents divorced (it seems like secret with a twist, so... the "saintly" dad cheated?).
I am not sure how I am going to get it trough 12 episodes if this continues ๐ (Su su na! ๐)
Why is it so boring? I don't care about the whole work stuff. And honestly if I want to watch a movie I will watch…
They make me hate Power Point ๐ (and I haven't used it in years + had no strong feelings about it either way...). Then again in "Semantic Errorr" Sangwoo was simply "master" of presentations ๐คฃ... nah, not enough "mastery" to cover this fiasco. And yes, what are they thinking? It's not Korean drama (does not include BLs) for episode to be this long ๐ฑ
Shout out to my first bl drama ever! I'm currently reading the novel and I'm kinda disappointed with what Gu Hai…
Chai Jidan's novels are like that ๐ They just have to have r*pe (mostly ML to MC but there was one when ex faked gang r*pe on 2nd MC... 2nd MC was a doctor, so I don't get how he didn't figured out that he wasn't actually r*ped). There is one of her novels, Counter Attack (adapted to a movie), where 2nd ML had snake who was checking girls virginity ๐คฎ (let's forget that Hymen-myth BS for a second - how could snake do that?). //Yes, 2nd ML was chsing 2nd MC from beginning (2nd ML - friend of 1st ML, 2nd MC - friend and doctor of 1st MC => no love triangles/squares between them) and there was no r*pe involved between them ๐ฑ// She likes disturbing the readers, I guess... (I noticed that up to some point most of BL's from China had r*pe as relationship starter ๐ - it got better, thankfully)
At first.... I didn't like it. I dropped it after seeing 3 eps. It was just too cute, too fluffy and not something…
I, similarly like you, was not able to go forward. Recently I (finally) watched "Enchantรฉ"* and fell in love with Jimmy's voice, so I am giving this series a 2nd chance ๐ *They were given 2nd chance because I like "A Boss and A Babe" and wanted to see a bit subdued version of Cher ๐
I enjoy GearxNight and NeilxNick way more. There I said it. I don't know if their relationships are as messy as…
So the chronology is as follows: Itt bets with Gear, so to win Gear r*ped Night (I think Itt was filming it as well). After 6 months or so Night comes back to get revenge (?) which turns to nothing as he almost immediately forgives Gear and they start dating. The same night that Night returns, Day tricks Itt to his appartment, r*ped him and records it for blackmail (later Night finds the recording and is trying to - unsuccessfully - persuade Day that what he did was wrong) as a punishment for what he did to his little brother (Day has a massive brother complex). Itt being confined in that room, getting r*ped and beaten continues for some time basically untill he he browbeaten to submission and shows Stockholm Syndrom (I read it's a myth but the author clearly believes in it). At some point we meet Neil, who had a thing for Night and kidnaped him (this time there was no r*pe) but afterwards he gets forgiveness and then Itt's friend, Nick, starts to pursue him (yes, uke is chasing seme) and finally they have (drunken) s*x (if I remember correctly it was Nick who took advantage of Neil). Then Nick disappeared because Neil's words were hurtful (he liked it rough in the bedroom, I think) and you know what happened. In all that what angers me to no end is that Itt got horrible punishment but Gear, the frinkin' perpetrator, NOTHING! (There was a bit of karma when he got stabbed while protecting Night but Day did nothing - I think he was planning for Gear to loose in a car race and that's it! ๐คฌ)
He was called (by himself) Gay of Demonic Charm in "Antique [Bakery]" for a reason ๐Side note: I like him not…
He was apparently playing gay character in Coffee Prince as well (haven't seen it yet). And yes, he is king and was way ahead of his time! (I read somewhere that he wasn't comfortable with that part, didn't know how to behave etc. - watching the movie, I could not tell)
Yes, they only blamed criminals but what about the police itself? In EP01 ML was assaulting a suspect and what…
Agreed! Sadly in police procedurals often the unlawful behaviour of police is portrayed as justified. I get that X is going to happen if police doesn't get info out of the suspect but what guarantee do they have that suspect is telling the truth (I saw multiple "true crime" showing police talking with the suspect and at least treating them like human: surprise, surprise - it worked without beating!)? Let's not even talk about coerced confessions... "Who watches the Watchmen?" Apparently nobody.
I'm on ep5 and I wonder why was 7 years old smarter and 17 years old girl better fighting (she was barely conscious and that guy was huge) than our police officer FL (no training for her?) who on multiple occasions gave opening for quite slender assauler to get her (and the victim)?Honey, when there are fumes going from the wall after some chemicals hit it, you should leave the room ASAP and not chit-chat! The prio should be getting out of that school! Especially since it's apparently covered in flammable substance and baddy has ignitor! ๐คฏ
"People in their right mind, no matter how much they suffered, wouldn't blame other people"You only blame the…
Yes, they only blamed criminals but what about the police itself? In EP01 ML was assaulting a suspect and what did they do? Covered cameras! ML was also using a tool to torture dentist-child abuser in the basement. When they were searching for the radio he hit his informant multiple times to get him to work. Was he punished in any way for breaking the law? I highly doubt it. Before his wife murder he didn't seem much better...
The fact is that they are adults and at some point we are responsible for our actions regardless of our past.
LOL that scene when Gun (boss) walks into the frame when Cher is gaming with friends looks too real. Something…
To be fair to Gun - the camera was showing like the whole appartment, he told Cher that he is going to use bathroom, so what was he supposed to do? Stay there untill stream ended? Did Cher not know that door to the bathroom are clearly visible (2 options: airhead or did it on purpose - and we know that Cher is not the puppet master ๐)?
It seems like we have to wait long tutor yim said they are going Start filming this from May. So we may get this…
No~~~~~! ๐ญ It's been at least 2 years of waiting already ๐ญ Let's pray to BL god's for it to not only being finally released but for it to happen no later than Q3 ๐๐ฏ๏ธ
Right? In the book Jade is convinced that Mai is in love... with Uea (since they were sitting close nad Mai kept looking their way)! And since Uea is single and Jade thinks Mai is supper nice to him, so how great he will be to the person he likes... and hence tries to perform his "middleman's duties". Who is then going to be Mai's supposed love interest? Gun?! Mangkol?! Another thing from Jade's book (haven't read Uea x King yet): Jade constantly complains how broke he is (his apartment belongs to his brother, so he saves on rent but spends it all on food) and how the money he earns is not enough but somehow Uea is not only able to afford a condo but send money to his family? At least King and Mai come from money... I really like Yim as Jade, his face is so cute and the whole "aura" (minus the fat - as Jade was a bit chubby โฌ๏ธ due to being foodie๐) fits book's Jade (not sure if Jimmy could "sell meng" to this degree). Tutor's face is more mature than Tommy's (he has such a baby face ๐), so he should be a good fit for this version of Jade (again with the book: Mai could not believe how old Jade was due to his baby face).
It was cute, but I wish we got to see more of the second couple. A spin off for them would be nice.
In manhwa they barely showed them. It showed a bit of their backstory: how they met and a bit of Ho Tae's family struggle, I think Dong He (coming from a rich family) went to USA and not to Seoul (Ho Tae already had some feelings but they were not clear to him), he came back after several years, about a month before the start of the manhwa Ho Tae saw him kissing another guy and they fought about it. Seeing that kiss actually was the thing that started to clue Ho Tae in about his feelings. They went basically from Dong He hating (he thought Ho Tae was homophobic), avoiding him, got drunk and slept with Ho Tae, avoided him again... BAM - they are together ๐ณ (or at least sleeping together). As far as I can tell there was no manhwa for them and their scenes combined were max 2-3 chapters (out of 70), so I doubt that they will make 2nd season ๐ Honestly at the end of manhwa I was like: leave the main couple - I want more about side couple! There were even chapters in history setting with main couple ๐
I second that (especially since it just started this year and is far from being concluded).Weird how they included…
Big "yes" to MC continuation with emphasis on our side couples. Thought Heart x Liming might be difficult as they are supposed to study in USA. Alan & Gaipa had basically no real development shown - they could perhaps show how Alan helped him mourn. Gaipa was such a sweetheart and simply devastated after the funeral, so somebody as affectionate as Alan would be great fit. Is "Warp Effect" really worth watching? Do our BL boys get a lot of screen time? (Och, right! Fluke is in "A Boss and a Babe" ๐ก)
