I agree with you for the most part. I actually really enjoyed QoT, but I think that was mostly the experience of watching it as it was airing. I don’t think I would’ve liked it as much as I did if I had binged it. For me, I only really noticed the writing fall apart in the last two episodes.

Just started this asadora and I can already tell I’m going to love it. It reminds me of my first asadora Hanako to Anne.

Excited for season 2! Season 1 just barely scratched the surface of the book.

Such a good actor. I need to watch more of his dramas.

I hope this gets subs eventually since the premise sounds promising.

Just finished season 2. It’s very good, but it left a couple of unanswered questions. I wouldn’t call the ending a cliffhanger, but they’re obviously aiming for a season 3.

I’m not going to argue with you. I was explaining the reasoning behind my original comment. Both series are still American-made no matter how many Japanese people worked on them. MDL allows these productions on here if they have certain amount Japanese, Korean, etc. people working on them.

When I’m talking about Japanese involvement, I’m talking about the cast which is almost entirely Japanese. As for the crew, it’s almost entirely Americans. This goes for both adaptations. For what ever reason, this seems to be MDL’s threshold for allowing technically foreign productions on here.
