Watching the story suddenly shift toward a military angle in episode 15 didn’t surprise me, because at the end of season 2 they showed Kim Do-gi wearing a uniform. Watching him as a soldier was nice as well. There’s one thing I couldn’t quite make sense of, though: how Kim Do-gi’s team managed to enter the military so easily, like the ahjussi just said “I’m a general” and walked right in. Still, it was enjoyable to watch.
There’s a big difference between the beginning and the end of episode 12, and honestly, I liked it. The big guy in the white tank top looked really terrifying, all bloody. They got hunted while hunting, I’m curious to see how it will end.
I think Mak Dong killed the wrong man. From the very beginning, it was clear that he had feelings for Mi Ae, yet when his boss was selling her to another man and hitting her, he did nothing. I thought the female character would be explored in more depth from the very start of the film, but that didn’t happen either. It was still a nice film to watch. I wish it had been written differently. Mak Dong also died for nothing. The boss is a complete disgrace with no honor.
By the way, I enjoyed every Hiro scene :) I’ve got my eye on him. I’m going to watch the projects he’s in, the guy is seriously handsome. At first he was kind of off-putting, but just like his manager said, he matured. He learned Korean for love, etc. After that, he became a character I liked.
I didn’t expect a psychological condition to be so prominent in the series. If I remember correctly, episodes 8 and 9 mostly focused on Do Ra Mi and the ML. I’d be lying if I said I enjoyed them a lot. In the final episode, they were a bit rushed in revealing the truths about the FL’s life, her family, but it's okay. The place they were in during the last scene, watching the stars, and the way the girl expressed how much she loved him were very beautiful. I don’t think the second couple was that important, but they were cute anyway. Saying they became a couple after a one-night stand, or even getting married right away, was very silly, but still sweet. I enjoyed watching it. I first watched Kim Seon Ho in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, his green-flag role there was perfect. He also did a good job portraying this character. Go Youn Jung was amazing in the Do Ra Mi scenes, my favorite scene was probably after the baptism in the church, when she made the universal sign with her hand to her uncle and his wife. 7/10
Han Ji Min is a very good actress. I thought something had been used for her eyes, but it turns out she spent a long time with visually impaired people and practiced. The last few minutes were very enjoyable. I had forgotten how handsome Park Hyung Sik is… Them kissing each other and the man making a heart sign to the woman was so sweet. And this turned out to be a commercial.
Yes. Iirc, he was dying for 18 minutes.... Jesus Christ... They also don't show CHT's death, either, but for obvious…
After everything he had been through, he deserved a peaceful death. After receiving the gift in his cell, he learned that he would be executed and suffered in agony for minutes, struggling for his life. I hope there is a beautiful place for him in heaven, where he can be together with the woman he loved.
I’m in the middle of episode 4, and even though they frame it as a comedic element, Hiro and the team mocking FL, etc., is really boring and genuinely unpleasant to watch. It’s an unprofessional kind of behavior, really… also, FL is constantly regretful about something or stuck in some kind of problem... By the way, Go Youn Jung played her role perfectly.
