I agree, but people fight over a drunken kiss on other boards, so I'm pretty sure the crusaders will be here, and continue to watch, week after week. Then they will gather here to grandstand week after week, using hyperbole and self-righteousness to prove their point.

Many people today are self-righteous, and elitist, looking down their noses, accusing people of condoning real life SA if they watch some of these shows. Meanwhile, many of the same people continue to consume these series, or shows such as Squid Games or GoT. They will berate people for "slut shaming, " while kink shaming others. Some are also guilty of SA by their own "definition", if they ever kissed a child, or an adult with dementia or/and cognitive disability, since those individuals cannot consent. I'm sure if I knew them in real life, I would catch them engaging in racist, homophobic, body-shaming, bullying and just being judgmental words/actions in general. How do I know this? I know people who think their crap don't stink, doing it. I will call them out when they do, and vice versa. I'm not perfect, and neither are my associates, but they are still good people, and we are all trying to do better.

This book has terrible SA, non-con, dub-con, etc. If the series follows the book, I hope that the brigade sees the warnings (check the discussion area) and doesn't flood the boards. I'm not condoning SA, nor is it my kink, but I feel that these boards are can be very judgmental and elitist in their kink shaming. Obviously some people enjoy this type of content, and they know fiction from real life. I may not even watch this series until it is over due to the heaviness, but I also will not be judgmental toward people who enjoy this type of FICTION. The BL world used to accept that people have different kinks, and the manga and DJs reflect this. I think that other populations came to the BL community and started trying to drown out voices they don't like. Just my opinion.

I ordered it a couple of days ago, but I haven't finished it yet. I'm glad they are starting to publish these novels in English.

I really like how Turbo is catching the essence of the manga's Izumi. Growing up in an entertainment family, trying to find his own way, being a little stubborn and childish at times. I'm really enjoying this adaptation more than the Japanese live action movie.

Thee has a brother complex, but his love is Jet, if they include the subplot in this version. In the manga Shougo and Rei have their own novel, and it's called "Back Stage."

I read somewhere that many ethnic Chinese in Thailand use "hia" for older brother instead of "phi." I can't cite the source because it was so long ago, and I don't know if it is a loan word from Chinese, or something that evolved.

I like it so far. In the manga, Ryoma is way more direct about his feelings for Izumi. Also, in the manga, Izumi's art skills are terrible, and the mangaka's drawings of them in the manga are hilarious. I wish they had not improved Anda's drawing skills (I was looking forward to seeing their version of bad drawing), but I don't mind that Ryou is not as direct with his feelings.

I almost skipped this series because of the title, but watched it when I saw that Zee was one of leads and I'm glad that I did. This is one of the first series I've seen that has a manga-like story. The cold partner, the arranged engagement, Lian having to scrap to prove his isn't beneath anyone, a sense of duty, hidden feelings. Also, New's singing voice is beautiful!

In my opinion, I find this a very slow burn, but I'm glad that it's starting to heat up. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out if the author purposely named Wayo and Phupha after 2Moons, and how much Force resembles Kimmon in certain angles, but Ep 5 is the first where my mind didn't wander off. The acting of the leads is very good too.

I really liked this episode. I am a sucker for the cold, distance guy who only unlocks his heart for his beloved. I thought that Zee looked so handsome in his suits.

I read the manga and I like this so far. I don't like that the Thai version took away Izumi and Rei's glasses, but episodes 1 & 2 made me laugh.

Great interview. Lin Yu seems like such a nice person and the interpreter did a great job.
