Ikr?!?! It just didn't seem to fit. They made the focus of this episode James and Ait, but what about Bas and…
Did you see how happy and animated Bas was and the news conference? So 5 episodes of being devastated and suicidal to this? I understand that he may have learned to love himself which would make him happy in general, but the whole tone of the series changed. I think that they needed two more episodes so that Bas could also address the fallout from the news conference and that he isn't going to let his father tear him down anymore either. Too bad since this was a great season.
After being lured in by the clips on YouTube, I'm now watching the full episodes. If this weren't about the life of a Qing Emperor, people would think it's a dark comedy. It's like the bachelor, but with serial killers, child murderers, sexual assault/exploitation, abuse of power, etc. I almost rolled on the floor laughing when everyone scoffed at the "Western" idea of only having one wife. I may have to take breaks due to the sheer evil that goes on, especially knowing that some if not most of it really happened. We don't really know because except for the Empresses, most of the women weren't deemed important enough to record their personal names. Their importance was based on their relationship with the Emperor.
This episode had more Satha and Nut than any so far. I still don't know why they suddenly started to get along…
What's interesting is, a Thai YouTube channel says the Thai title can be one of these three: "Extremely Busy Lover" or "Extremely Nervous Lover" or "Extremely Disorderly Lover." They are referring to the writing underneath the words, "My Boy the Series."
Jealousy was not Michael's motivation in that particular moment. He was overwhelmed by his own sexual harrassement…
Okay, I'm going to agree to disagree. I'm will no longer discuss this because you said "completely fabricated" so now it's personal. Thanks and have a great weekend.
Finally someone who has said it. I also felt that people's comments towards ait and James are harsh. I think sometimes…
I was talking about the comments, not the series. The comments have been brutal and were victim blaming because Bas wouldn't report Tee. My post was about the comments on this page.
Get the flame throwers ready! Not my favorite episode at all. While I think the acting is stellar, there were too many flaws for me. I've been to Bangkok and all I've been told by Thais is, if you are in a hurry, take a motorbike taxi. You can even see the motorbikes drive between cars in the "traffic" scenes, yet Marco chose to drive.
Also, I don't think the suicide attempt was handled well. Maybe they should not have shown Marco saving him because it looked fake. There were no ligature marks and to be honest, Bas should have been 5150'd. I don't think they should give the viewers a scene that makes hanging look like something easy to recover from. People are hospitalized over it. But I understand why Marco didn't call an ambulance since the Thai press would be relentless. Look at the recent events involving a Thai actor being arrested. Photos of him were taken in the house and everything. Plus, Bas is a fictional character. PS - I forgot to add that they didn't show Marco's trauma very well. I've known people who have found people and they are usually very traumatized by the event, even if the person survived. I think they should have just skipped showing so much on screen.
I don't have a problem with Marco and Bas deciding to be together so soon. I'll hand wave that less than a day ago Marco told James that he loves him, and that after talking to James, he got over years on unrequited love in 5 seconds.
I think that next week will be intense if they do not allow melodrama to take over.
I understand your POV, but I think the MLs would have had better chemistry had they had the same amount of screen…
I actually enjoy this trope in manga. I think that Zhao Gang could have explained this to Si Qi without all of the ex and JYZ kissing and cuddling so much. In contrast JYZ and SL always had one of them sleeping, which annoyed me. Hank is so beautiful when he smiles, it would have been nice to treat the viewers to more of them. I'm going to say that Hank's beauty is up there with Mix.
Loved it, but I'll admit that I watched a lot of the BTS footage and grew fond of the actors. I really fell for Boat Tara and his character, Sun. I always wanted a shy boyfriend like Sun, but never had one, which is my fault since I never had Juno's confidence. This series does not try to be an epic award winner and I think that Gun did a great job of being a spoiled brat. I have been around spoiled brats in my life and they act like Gun. I also know people who clench their teeth when they're angry in real life . To me, Boat , Sugus, Oat, Thanayong, and the actor playing Shin were the best actors. Gun and Tenon have room to grow. I thought that 6 years was a little excessive to be apart, but it seems like Asian dramas like to use the study abroad trope quite a bit.

Even TharnType didn't show Tharn and San kissing and being in love, but we knew what happened. I also didn't like that the ex was shown as the hero when I think the MLs would have found their way to each other. In my opinion, they could have written mom in more and showed the office as a cohesive unit.
I saw a promo interview where they discussed how Hanks ears turn red so easily and Aaron stated that Hank's body even flushed during scenes. This was a very sweet interview and I think those type of moments could have been captured during the series.
I wish they would pick up this series and give it a 30 episode run, since this was impacted by the new (at the time) law. After the successes of Untamed and Word of Honor, this series could be given another chance. The cast may still be young enough to resume their roles. I haven't seen recent photos of them though.
am i the only one who is thinking that this series english subtitle is horrible, because sometime they write things…
Even though I like this series, yes, the subtitles are not great. We don't need at subtitle for emotives, we understand "aaaargh." It seems like they do not have a native English speaker or an advanced English learner to QA the subs because there are still pronoun errors.
Unlike many posters, I actually kind of liked the ep. 13 special. It gave a decent backstory about the relationship…
I understand your POV, but I think the MLs would have had better chemistry had they had the same amount of screen time that showed them in more romantic moments. It's hard to show chemical attraction when the MLs always has one partner sleeping (or pretending to), or with them arguing, while the ex-couple kiss and are lovey-dovey. I don't think that we needed more than 10 minutes of screen time in a flashback to know what happened. For example, History 1 Obsessed. Plus during promotions, Aaron and Hank have very good chemistry. I think it was poor writing and storytelling, because they made the ex the hero instead of the MLs healing while falling in love. That's just my opinion.
Wow, the misfortune of being a human being. I think that some viewers are being a little harsh, but then again they are fictional characters. I think this is a testament to the acting of ALL of the cast, not just Michael, who is giving and outstanding performance. I think that our reactions reflect real life feelings over these topics.
Episode 3 - Terrible victim blaming while Tee goes unscathed. Blaming Bas for not reporting, is victim blaming and shaming. Victims have the right to not report if they are not ready. It isn't a matter of being "strong" or "weak" it's a matter of working with the mental capacity one has at any given time. Bas has no family support, so he does not have a soft place to land. Even his brother who cares about him told him to stop crying.
Episode 4 - Viewers being angry at Ait for being angry at Bas. Ait doesn't know what is going on because Bas is not telling him. Regardless, being jealous does not give Bas the right to out someone. Both Bas and Ait have responded to their jealously in an immature way. James is somewhat of an airhead, but so is Marco because he had years to tell James how he feels and did not.
Hopefully Marco will catch the balloon that Bas sent regarding possibly ending his life in Episode 5.
I hope that some dear soul who knows how to edit or the network will make a BL cut when this series is done airing and post it. I only say this because the network that airs Love is Science? makes a Mark x Ou Wen cut and it's really enjoyable.
This series wasted the talent of the actors with weak storytelling. I'm not going to be so arrogant to say that I could have written the special episode, but I'm surprised that when the team met to discuss it in pre-production, nobody thought to say maybe the MLs should have the lovey-dovey time with the ex's story told in short flashbacks. It just seemed like this episode was developed to paint the ex as the savior of the ML's relationship. The ex and JYH had more love scenes and happy moments than JYH and SL during the series. I would be reluctant to watch another BL series from this same team.
I am now a Boat Tara fan. The way he plays Sun even makes me feel safe when I look in his eyes through the screen. I know that he does MF series, but I hope to see him in another BL in the future.
I'm with you, tho I don't like the drama between the girls either cause I don't see what their relation to the…
I think it will pick up once Satha and Nut start going out. I wish they would focus on that and drop all of the side drama. It would be a better show, but it looks sort of self-produced, so I can't be mad. I watch the girl drama only because it is somewhat interesting, but I skip the teachers because I'm not into that comedic style. I think they both could be cut and maybe develop the story of the two friends, Jedi. I belong to the Line group and they said it will be 12 episodes.
