Title Love Is Science? Spoiler
The pregnant girl (I forget her name) is really unlikeable. Such a nasty disposition.
There is a YT channel that has BL cuts where some of the context is left in. I usually don't like modern Asian dramas because I don't like how the women act (always hot, sexy, rich, skinny, fair, sassy, etc), but the cuts they show made me feel differently toward her. That playlist had a scene between Joanna and the FL where they discuss the pregnancy and that this baby is a miracle for Joanna, who thought she couldn't get pregnant. She told the FL that Mark was is the father, but not to tell Mark. They even added how Joanna got pregnant. The channel is called Ian B.

I'm sorry but someone needs to get Ja and First some help. it's obvious that they feel uncomfortable during intimate…
The do seem a little shy, but then, I would have a very hard time kissing a good friend and being passionate, especially at this stage of their careers. In 5 years, who knows? Look at Mix and Earth.

I like how authentic the scenes are though. When they were kissing in the shower, their lips stuck together a couple of times and it was not reshot for perfection. Sometimes that happens and sometimes drool happens in real life. I like that part of their love scenes.

i feel like the only complain i have on this episode, is you see pob call leon b/c the cat is sick, but you don't…
I agree that all of the adults are to blame. All of the adults have emotionally abused Fiat, and worse, Dad and Fay are teaching his sister to abuse him. According to them, Fiat is a baby attempted murderer, which is stupid because he pushed her out of hurt and anger, not with premeditated intent to kill the embryo. He was an emotionally abused boy who needed comfort and compassion, but Dad and Fay were in their bliss, while Fiat's mom was locked up. All of the adults let him down. In my opinion mostly Dad and follower Fay are the psychos, Fiat's mom is mentally ill. Mental illness are beyond the control of the person. Dad and Fay are not mentally ill and acted with intent, and have manipulated the victim (Fiat) to take the blame for the actions of the adults.

I agree with the cat 9-11 to Leon and then meeting at the elevator like nothing happened.

I really have enjoyed this series so far, but I'm disappointed with this episode. Fiat's mom has to be mentally deranged to redeem Fiat's dad and Fay. It would have been nice to see that most people with mental health problems usually are not deranged and evil. I still blame Fiat's father and Fay for allowing this to go on for years and polluting Fah's mind with Fiat trying to kill her, instead of compassion for a little boy who was emotionally abused. Least favorite episode so far.

It's okay to like something no one else likes or very few people likes. Even if I don't agree with you as long…
I agree with you, and I appreciate your comment. I know this sounds cliche, but I think they lacked "vision" in the beginning and spent too much time on unnecessary subplots. And there were continuity issues as well. I think the actor who played Satha is very talented too. He has range where he can be an a-hole, sweet, confused, angry, etc. I hope to see Tawan in future roles.

I'm not asking anyone to agree with me, or trying to persuade others, but I liked the series, even with its flaws. I think they tried their best with the lockdowns and lack of budget. I like that there was an age gap couple, and that this series didn't have the usual K-Pop idol look, paired with gym bodies. Part of my positive feeling toward this series is the appreciation of the viewers on Line. They always responded to viewer comments. One of the users translated Satha's song before they posted the final episode, and they thanked them for this.

I tend to root for the underdog, especially if the leads to not end up in a cemetery. This drama had LGBT characters who may be more clockable, and cast some actors who are average looking. The most handsome (to me) actor, the person playing Ball, was the villain. Had they not wasted so much time on the girls and the teachers, it would have been nice to see Latte find a love interest. I really liked his character. I hope to see this cast in other productions in the near future.

I understand your POV, but I think the MLs would have had better chemistry had they had the same amount of screen…
From my understanding, San was in love with Tharn for 10 years but didn't tell him. Tharn explained to Type that he considered San a "very important senior, " was his first sexual experience, and kept him in his life a his senior and friend. They could have showed Tharn and San meeting, flirting, having sex, with/without kissing, even if it is to show that Tharn didn't like to bottom. They summed it up in dialogue instead of making several episodes, including a special.

Is it possible to just watch the BL scenes, or is that just a lame idea?
I just watch the BL cuts. The other couples do not interest me, but others like them.

I love this series. Yes, it had a rocky start with too many extra characters and they had to deal with a low budget, but I really like Nut and Satha. Thanks for sharing.

I think this was a great series. The first time actors did an excellent job. The flashbacks told the other protagonist's story and it wasn't bothersome or distracting to me. When I started episode 7, my hand did go to the fast forward thinking it was a recap, but when I actually listened, I realized that Phob was telling his story, as he saw it. Hearing it as written for Nut was so touching and made me emotional. I saw Episode 7 as a love letter to Nut, written with the understanding that Nut may read it after Phob's death.

The fact that having a lead character with a health problem or disability is another plot piece that I liked. At the end of each episode, the casts gives a BTS talk, and in. one of them, a woman who had both of her legs amputated speaks and it was uplifting. This is a wonderful series and I hope there will be a season 2 with Tar and Tone.

Pob said that he is adopted, so maybe his adoptive parents have money, at least enough to pay his tuition fees…
I like the more authentic too. Even though I didn't like the ending, I thought the way they portrayed Shake from My Extraordinary was pretty realistic. You make a good point about Kdramas. I think they were the first and people have gotten used to that level of quality. I hadn't thought of that before. The first Thai BLs I watched were Love Sick and Make it Right, so I think that I'm more accepting of low budget projects. Fans provided the subs back then, and when the larger companies started subbing we had to wait a week for them.

I like projects out of Vietnam even if they have flaws, but MDL doesn't list Vietnam as a country, so a show like My Lascivious Boss isn't talked about here. It wasn't perfect, but the main character is poor, living in an industrial looking room. Hopefully as the industry grows, there will be more types of people represented.

I'm not offended, and I hope you aren't offended. I appreciate a civil discussion that doesn't go personal. I did watch Heroin but you were discussing "Thai BL," not all BL. Plus, there is a rich & influential partner in Addicted, the son of the general (I can't remember their names right now), who stayed with his poor boyfriend because he wanted to be with him all the time, but used his money and influence when he wanted, for example the snack shop lady.

There are rare productions from any country where it is locally produced and both characters are poor. This board is international and since I can't speak Thai, I can't go on Thai boards, but all I see is complaining here when a project is low budget and it reflects in the production. Maybe the one of the exceptions is Country Boy. What I liked about Hometown's Embrace and Country Boy is, they are produced locally, using local talent. I will accept some flaws, knowing they don't have the funds because I believe in people telling their own stories.

Local viewers know what poverty looks like and there are probably shows (not specifically BL) that tell a real story. I don't think international viewers could handle real lives of the poor. When a sanitized view is presented such as in Hometown's Embrace, international viewers continually complain about the lack of production, storytelling, acting, etc. There are sacrifices for low budget projects and international viewers don't like it. They want rich people/companies telling the stories of the poor so they can get top acting, production and settings like A Tale of a Thousand Stars, which I really loved, but it isn't the poor speaking for the poor. That is my short answer and just my opinion.

Pob said that he is adopted, so maybe his adoptive parents have money, at least enough to pay his tuition fees and apartment. Otherwise he probably would just live at home. Poor people in Thailand do not live like Pob. He looks middle class to me, where Leo is rich.

I can't stand the on the knees technique, to create space, but it's used in Asia, even in well produced series like History (after season 1). I kind of like how Leo and Fiat are approaching this. One is afraid of underwhelming his partner, the other is afraid of overwhelming his partner. They are slowly getting there though. I understand because I had a VERY BRIEF romance with someone who was like a brother to me, and we could never get over the awkwardness. We only kissed a few times, but we did not have the maturity to even talk it out, we just went back to bro/sis.

Fiat is still feisty, he went over there and claimed his man. Leo did not disclose the orphanage thing, that's why Fiat, led down the rabbit hole by Leon, misunderstood. That's an immaturity moment of Leo and Fiat's. Leo for not disclosing out of not wanting to disclose Pob's past (if there's nothing wrong with being an orphan, Leo could have told Fiat, but he must think that Fiat is shallow) and Fiat should have just asked if Leo why he was talking to Pob. We have all jumped to incorrect conclusions in life and made an ass out of ourselves. I know I have.

I agree, stop the sound effects, but Thais must like this in their comedies because it's in all of them.

I think that we can discuss the topic civilly and we can always agree to disagree.

Edited to add: Famous line from Love Story, "Love means never having to say you're sorry." I disagree, but maybe that's how Fiat feels. Just kidding.
