Aw! I think Kim Young Dae is doing fantastic thus far. When he's longing for his queen and the tears roll down…
The ending of episode 2! The way she sets us up with the internal monologue about her helplessness as she continues to live in the shadow of another woman. She actually reaches and holds the King's hand which is a huge deal. I think any one of us who's watched their fair share of sagueks understand the severity of this offense. (even though I know this is a fictional comedic piece) Court ladies or anyone for that matter are not allowed to lay a finger on the King. But he wakes up and not only does he not punish her, he doesn't move his hand and instead says her hand resembles that of his late wife's... :(
She's already kneeling there wondering how is she going to overcome this living-in-the-shadow-of-another-woman situation. And yet here she is - dismantling his walls but ONLY BECAUSE she resembles another woman.
I'm someone who never gets SLS but already from the 2nd ep, Shin Won has my whole heart. That scene of his first…
Shin Won and the FL already have such a rich history! Its not even that they saw each other from afar in some random market, they were engaged to be marrieddd! And he's spent his every moment after that awful wedding looking for her. :( how can we not root for this man?
Omo. I didn't expect this drama to be this good. It's so enjoyable with a captivating storyline. Now I have to wait 5 more days for episode 3. I busted out laughing when they started playing the goblin soundtrack in the background. I love this drama. I love how it set itself up as a comedic saguek, nothing serious, just for kicks and giggles.
That second male lead and female lead relationship though. UGH. Why they gotta set up their storyline so well and so intertwined already? That's like what ML and FL relationships are made of. I'm going to have serious SML syndrome after this, similar to Start Up. T___T And not only that but SML is BEST FRIENDS with ML?? Ouch.
I've seen this actress in Love All Play, which I dropped unfortunately. She seemed way serious in there and she didn't seem like she could pull off a comedic saguek but my oh my was I wrong. She's a natural and I enjoy watching her weave in and out of comedic and more serious elements.
And last but most certainly not the least, that slo mo panning of the King's sweaty body. :O Thanks director-nim for that fanservice.
Hey was anyone else in awe of BJT's act of fury when he was threatening the bandit in episode 36 to find LW? When he was like WHERE IS SHE?! His punching and voice and expression, honestly I got a little scared myself. I thought that was very well done. My ovaries def stood to attention at his act of manliness.
For some reason I never was able to get into Pinocchio despite being a big fan of LJS. Hopefully they do a good…
I love LJS esp after When You Were Sleeping but I can't seem to start it bc I dont like PSH. After watching her in Heirs, I just can't stand the way she does her kissing scenes. She always looks like she's suffering throughout the entire scene. Now I've completely fallen head over heels for BJT so I'm glad hes leading this drama. I might finally get to watch Pinocchio!

Stahp it. I love BJT. I didn’t know him before NLB but after I started this drama, I finished reset and am watching you are my hero. He comes off so confident in the characters he plays but behind the scenes, he’s such a shy goofball.
My question is why the freak is this on Amazon Prime and not on Netflix or Viki. Sup wid dat!
I think platforms are starting to see viewership growth in these Korean dramas so they’re all trying to get a slice of the pie. Maybe it comes down to who’s willing to pay the most for it?
