They spent so much time on Yin Qi and JingJing's push and pull relationship. I must say they really did a great job because I sensed zero chemistry between the two at the start of the show and now its oozing with cuteness so kudos to the actors and the writing. I want more lead moments!! BJT tooootally deserves much more than this. I love his quick glances and comedic moments/timing. I need more of that and of course, romance with his FL. How they make us wait 34 episodes until we get a sober smooch?! so mean

I think in regards to just a romance drama, the sheer fact of what you said, leads having less than 10 min together collectively over a span of 10+ episodes, definitely makes it one of the least favored romance dramas of all time for me. The only saving graces are the cute side story lines but gosh darn it that’s not what I’m here for. -__- give me the giddy bubbly romance pls.

I literally finished reset and started watching You are my Hero bc of BJT. I love how he portrays different character types in even just these three dramas. Either him or his manager is doing it right with showing his range of acting skills in these roles. Love him!

I think the quality is great. The acting is also excellent. Characters are written well and have depth. I think the problem could be that this drama has so much going on that it started developing so many other storylines like the restaurant, the abusive husband, 5th brothers relationship with his wife etc that the story lost sight of the main leads relationship. They stopped developing them together which one would think is fine bc it’s just one relationship but this just happens to be that of the MAIN LEADS. It’s just so odd. I’ve never watched a drama like this before where it almost feels like they abandoned the leads. (They each got their own thing going on obviously, I meant their relationship together feels ignored)

Took a break from this drama after episode 19 because I wanted to wait for more episodes for binging purposes. So here I am, 13 episodes later and I just gotta say, where. is. the. romance. I mean, I love the supportive sisterhood and the conspiring villain brother and the funny relationship between 3rd 5th and 6th brother but the beginning of this drama seemed to be very clearly a romance drama so I thought that’s what I’m signing up for. All of sudden, I come back and I feel like I’m watching a completely different drama. There’s little to no romance and I gotta be honest I’m a little upset. T__T if it was just gonna be a historical slice of life/ political drama they could just tag it as such. But if they’re gonna start off strong with the romance bit and then veer off into something completely different, I’m gonna be honest I feel a little confused and sliiiightly betrayed. I don’t even feel chemistry between the leads anymore. They just give off a happy partnership vibe. Just a little disappointed is all…

Thoughts on episode 19-32.

It’s never about the destination with dramas sis, it’s about the journey. Can’t wait to enjoy this adventure! <3

I’ve been thinking about a suitable FL for this historical piece with KSH and I think SSK would be excellent! What a wonderful pairing. I’m gonna manifest it to the kdrama gods now.

I didn’t watch that bc I’m not a fan of the older female lead younger male lead trope. How was their chemistry though? Was the relationship executed well?

No “big hits” from him you’re right. But I thOROUGHly enjoyed him in maiden Holmes especially for it being his first drama. I see potential in him. And I like his look. Have you seen MH? If so, did you like?

I’m no casting director but I was just naming a new favorite ML I have that I think would pair well with ZLS. Just my personal opinion of course.

I didn’t like ZLH in LBFAD by the way. But it’s bc I didn’t like his character. Not much character arc for him. He was just nice to look at haha

I saw WAY in forever love and despite his satisfactory acting skills, TO ME his face doesn’t have that star quality. He’s forgettable? Dunno…he’s just not that swoon worthy. I wish ZLS was paired up with someone more of equal caliber as her in lewks and in skill. Maybe ZLH? I like that guy.

Oh man I’m so glad someone thinks the same. She’s been playing the same role over and over again!!! Clumsy cute feisty and Bambi eyed is right on the money. I see her in these upcoming dramas and I always give it a chance bc I do like her. But then I’m hit with the same character. -_- I wonder if it’s because she really has no range? Or is it her manager that keeps getting her these roles? Like girl why do you keep doing this to yourself. It’s almost like if you’ve watched one, you’ve watched all of them.
