Way above average youth drama. Will definitely watch this again. Everyone is redeemed by love, which is my favorite theme.

Everything in the drama is so lovely. Except after about 13 episodes, I was so, so bored. This is a mature cast. Why wasn't there more heat? Why do a noona romance and then waste the FL's maturity and experience on a relationship that's so blah?

I think when I first put this on my PTW, the Wright Brothers had only crashed two planes.

So, it's 36 episodes of 24, spread out over 40-42 episodes, but then it became 14 episodes. Thanks for clearing that up :-)

maybe mark this as a spoiler. Not sure it's a good thing to amplify Always; the more exposure these lovely subbers get, the more likely it is that something/someone is going to pressure them to stop subbing.

Slow, seductive. This boy looks like trouble. He is constantly invading the FL's boundaries, taking any excuse to touch the FL, not necessarily innocently. Can't wait to see how this unfolds.

If only there really was a legal system where the whole nation could judge in a trial. Imagine if a big cartoon hammer could clonk a terrible politician on the head, if the whole nation voted they were a buffoon. I'd pay more taxes if I could get that.

I've always really loved his character in "Descendants of the Sun". And his hopeless longing for Song Ga Kyung in "Search: WWW" was an entire mood.

The casting looks fabulous, but does this show have a story arc at all?

Keeping the intensity of the original version, while also updating for modern sensibilities is a big challenge for lakorn writers. Wimarn Sai will not be an exception. So far, several remakes of classic lakorns have been disappointments for me. Writers will probably change the rape in the original version to coercion or consent, but then they'll have to amp the intensity elsewhere. I haven't seen Esther do melodrama or intensity yet (romantic comedy seems to be more her thing), but we'll see.

My goodness, the episodes are short. All the episodes together add up to a movie's length, only with more bother because you have to load the next episode.

I like it, and it's a decent romance. Worth watching.
But the FL is such a drippy, whispery, dour character. What a sad rabbit of a FL.

I may give season 2 a shot, if I finish season 1. (I bailed on show with 4 episodes to go.) The issue I have with it is that I strongly disliked all the characters, and couldn't work up the energy to care about what happened to any of them. It's just a bunch of weak people who do hurtful things to others for fairly dull reasons.

My absolute favorite example of FL losing agency is "Secret Garden", where FL rides a bicycle to chase down eleventeen purse snatchers who are escaping in a van, catches them, and single handedly beats the crap out of them. Two episodes later, the soft and weak ML snags the FL in a wrist grab, which the FL can't break out of. Suuuuuuper nonsense.
