The actress playing Mona is facing discrimination from viewers 🙁🙁🙁https://www.instagram.com/p/CV14xjKL79g/…
Racism is prevalent all over the world, so expecting Thailand to be any different is pretty unrealistic; people who assert that [all] Thais don't see race are just engaging in wishful thinking.
I'm still extremely disappointed to read this, though.
The reasons for having laws in place to prevent sexual relationships between close relations is purely to ensure…
It's fine, but it's hard enough to blend step families without the extra pressure of having a sexual relationship between step siblings, especially if the siblings are minors.
This is a comment that serves no one and nothing. It just adds to the already very loud and divisive noise in the world that's driving us all to hate each other. Bringing religion into it is frosting on the cake.
Let people make their own way and answer their own questions without your getting up in their business. Be a source of comfort to others. If there's judging to do, let your god be the one who does it. Not you. Damn.
Wow. That was . . . awesome. Wen you think you can't take one more insipid, clumsy, silly, passive dumbass FL, this is your drama, because the FL lead absolutely brings fire. The fight choreographer for this drama is the best I've ever seen.
I disagree regarding the rape scene you mentioned in the Professional Single. Rather I will use the term Seduced.
I agree. Also, although she says where her boundaries are and he does his utmost to cross over them, there is a huge difference between crossing over boundaries with the goal of eventual persuasion, and rape. This scene is ambiguous, but it is presumed, by the FL's well-adjusted behavior the next morning that she either agreed to be persuaded, or he backed off. Either way, the outcome was agreeable to both people.
This version is bad. Really, really bad. The noble idiocy of Pim is the dumbest I've ever watched. If noble idiocy is not your thing, hit the eject button before you start chewing your hair in frustration.
Someone wrote in a comment I read a few years ago that Thailand remakes dramas a lot because getting new scripts…
How strict or not the censorship board in Thailand is has a lot to do with their current political situation and public opinion, which is always changing. So even an extremely successful lakorn like "Sawan Biang" from 2008 is not going to find the same audience in 2021 (and the script from 2008 wouldn't make it past the censors.)
I'm not very well informed about this. Hopefully someone with more information can write about this.
Someone please enlighten me I don't get it: why Thailand remade a drama that was already remade in 2015 (Roy Ruk…
Someone wrote in a comment I read a few years ago that Thailand remakes dramas a lot because getting new scripts past the TV censors is difficult, which is also why it will remake a half-way successful but really recent drama.
I genuinely respected the frankness and simplicity of this drama. It's quite well done. Can recommend to anyone who's looking for information that isn't presented in a clinical or dry way. Realistic and helpful, but the episode with the vibrator was just a teensy over the top, though.
I'm still extremely disappointed to read this, though.

But then again, that screenwriter . . .
I'ma tip you just for that description.
