The show improves your Mandarin, because the available English subs for it are really a struggle. The show is so good, you're nearly desperate to understand what's happening, what people are saying, and what they mean by what they're saying.

Quite powerful slice of life drama that manages to be very up lifting, even though you need 10 hankies to get through it. That's a masterful accomplishment, considering the whole show is only 12 episodes (average episode length is 75 minutes, though.)

A rare Cdrama that's as good as it should be, where all the FL characters are realistic but admirable.

I liked the ending of Princess Agents. What I do not like is the fact that it's been over 2 years, and Princess…
There is about an 85% chance that there will never be a season 2 of Princess Agents. The cast for the original has long since gone on to other projects, and if there was anything in the works for a season 2, some details--cast, screenwriter, director, script, budget, set--anything about these at all--would have leaked or been disclosed. But there's absolutely nothing. (The only reason I'm not 100% sure is because the wiring in my crystal ball is busted.)

Princess Agents ended badly because, for whatever reason, the screenwriter gambled on there being a 2nd season, only there isn't.

Hi, what episode does she realize her feelings and what ep do they get together please?
I can't remember exactly, but it's nearer the middle of the show, say like episode 8 or 9? Or earlier? It's not a drama where they drag how long it takes for them to get together.

By the time all the sexy parts in the original Kdrama were zippered off to make this align more with Thai sensibilities, you're sort of left with a not very exciting noona romance that features some very attractive actors.

If you're going to do a re-make, either subtract the parts from the original that weren't very good, or add parts to the original that make it better, but what's the point of doing a copy, only duller?

A lovely, lovely drama from start to finish. Easily in my top 10. The performances are so heart felt and honest, without being overly dramatic. I loved everything about it. On days when I feel like the world is grinding me into paste, I'll take two aspirin and watch this drama again.

Difficult to like a ML who believes he is the one and only logical person there is. Hard to like a FL, who keeps…
It wouldn't be a Cdrama if the FL wasn't clumsy, though.

This a the rare Cdrama, where I'm not ff through any episodes, and look forward to every new one. Parts are hilarious. (Am I the only one who noticed the judgy dog statue in her apartment? So quietly funny!) The leads have an endearing, easy and unforced chemistry. It's completely believable that they're honestly delighted by each other.

The best part of each episode is the first two minutes, when the leads are children. He is stupidly loyal, does whatever she tells him to do, no matter what, while she leads them both into trouble, over and over again. I want another 20 episodes that are just about them when they were kids.

This was a commercial for Rio beverage with actors saying and doing stuff, interrupted by other commercials, the most notable of which was a Chanel earring the size of a shoe, dangling from a character's ear like she was a prize-winning cow at the county fair.

I know that the rent has to paid, but let's be sensible about the PPL, maybe?

I wasn't sure where this drama was going or even what it was about until the last 5 minutes of the last episode. It's quite representative of what Jdramas do so well--slice of life--in this drama's case, a fine slice of one woman who falls apart, rather spectacularly. The symbolism of the last few moments of the show are very heavy handed, however.

The FL runs headlong into society's sexual taboos, like the Koolaid kid running through walls. It's an uncomfortable watch, and you wonder how far down she thinks she needs to go before she finds the freedom she wants to live her own life.

I've known women who stretched themselves to the breaking point to get away from their own lives, Before they snap back into some resemblance of themselves it can be very messy and painful for their family, their friends, and other fairly innocent bystanders.

I thought this drama was inspiring, though.

My comfort dramas are "Coffee Prince", "Secret Garden", "Goong", "Descendants of the Sun", and any 5 episodes in a row of "The Story of Ming Lan".

A rare Cdrama I've re-watched many times. My preferred way to watch is picking out selected parts of the story, and watching all the related episodes, such as when Minglan sets her sister up to be caught in an affair, or when Minglan is chasing down the person who threatens her grandmother.

No discussion of "enemies to lovers" is complete without mentioning the kdrama, "Secret". This is serious melodrama, and although you would not want to be hated the way the ML hates the FL as the drama begins, you would certainly want to be loved the way the ML loves the FL by the drama's end.

This was a 22 episode show they edited down to . . . 15 episodes? Why? Why'd they do that?

Reminds me of something. Something, something, "Defending the Son"? "Decent of the Sun"? It's on the tip of my tongue . . . .
