Only Ji Sung can make me watch and enjoy16+ hours of serious surgeries, doctor-politics, heartbreaking discussions on euthanasia and actual blood, sweat, and tears. He is as always PHENOMENAL in his role, and truly disappeared in his portrayal of the enigmatic Cha Yo Han. He was stellar, and so was the show. I liked his relationship with the lead actress and enjoyed their interactions, he was adorable with her, and they had a fitting end together. I LOVED the other doctors, the sister of the female lead with Lee was SO CUTE, and the other two male doctors with their adorable bromance. The rest of the cast was great too. The story has a lot of thoughtful moments, discussing what it means to be truly alive and what can blur the line between living/surviving so easily. It was enjoyable from beginning to the end, and for some reason didn't even feel like I had seen 16+ hours of this show, it kinda felt like a movie almost. Highly recommended as a great medical drama.

He was downright HILARIOUS in Good Manager, but his bromance with the other lead, and his amazing suits were the only reason I finished that show though haha
This was a surprisingly heart warming show. I started it because of Ji Sung and at first I was really disheartened to see him in a role which I rally disliked because he was acting in a really selfish manner. BUT as the story progressed it becomes clear that Ji Sung has come to terms with his previous life and that he also contributed in making his own life hell by simply not paying enough attention to his family, even though he didn't do it intentionally. He also realises that he was simply in need of a break, rather than wanting a different person for a wife, he actually wanted a slightly different life but with the same person, and that realisation was slow but meaningful. ALSO I can't believe this, but the first and only time in forever, I actually liked the second lead better than Ji Sung, only briefly but still. Jang Seung Jo absolutely STOLE MY HEART WITH HIS CUTENESS. I also really enjoyed all the side characters at the bank, and the girl's mother as well, and the trio of friends were cute and fun! Overall a great watch. Loved it.
There's a really beautiful 1957 American movie called '12 Angry Men' and this movie is definitely largely based off of that, but the actual court case in question was different this time, and everyone was great at their part.

I know it's a romcom BUT I honestly can't believe a review above actually called the husband a misogynist, when in fact his wife actually was abusive as HELL! She was both verbally AND physically abusive, she never let him speak a word, never let him feel like he could even tell her that he wanted a divorce, that's how scared he was of her, and that shit is NOT CUTE.
Wow, what can I say about this absolute MASTERPIECE of a slow-burn, thriller show. Watching Ji Sung is ALWAYS a delight, the way he portrayed confidence, heartbreak, confusion, despair, desperation, misery, PAIN, and anguish was just TOO GOOD. I teared up at several points through the show and I just couldn't hold myself back from desperately wishing for him to achieve some sort of happiness through his seemingly never-ending pain. That man is a true POWERHOUSE of acting, just brilliant to watch. His chemistry and bromance with Shin Chul Shik and all his OPTIMUS PRIME glory lmao. He was amazing and hilarious to watch. The support our prosecutor received from his cell-mates was touching and heartwarming, and it was so easy to become involved in their personal lives too and cheer for their happiness also. The side characters were all endearing and sweet and it was a delight to see them interact with each other. I loved how, instead of telling people that the cell-mates were a family, they SHOWED that they were a family through their actions and their encouragement and their interactions. Every single scene of our dear prosecutor and his family in flashbacks was so damn sweet and so damn sad T-T. I HATED the villain in this one, he was absolutely revolting and it was sickening how he acted, kudos to the actor I guess. BUT even more than that I HATED HATED HATED the 'friend' prosecutor. He should've burned in hell tbh, he was TERRIBLE. The female attorney was too damn sweet to Ji Sung, at one point she even Googled 'How to aid in breaking someone out of prison' and that was A D O R A B L E. I loved how the brother-in-law was as a character, he was righteous but he changed his views and opinions and actions as the story progressed. I liked the pace of the story, but overall it could've maybe been better in a 14/16 episode format, but that's taking it from a 100% to a 1000% tbh, it was thrilling throughout! LOVED IT. I would highly recommend it.
