Just discovered his band 2PM. And the songs are amazing oh my god, please check them out guys, the songs 'Nobody Else', 'With Me Again', 'ADTOY', 'The Cafe', 'Moon and Back', and 'Make It' are my favourites so far, I can't believe how good Lee Jun Ho is at acting, and singing, and in his comedic timing, and his dancing, and HIS LOOKS. He is a blessed man, cannot wait for his new show!!!
I just realised, I think I never mentioned Seo Kang Joon to you! Check out his show 'Are You Human Too', the actor is so hot/beautiful it hurts to look at him. :)
Although not all of his dramas are popular, there is definitely something charismatic about him. He's got that…
I agree so much, he was born to be an actor with that face and those acting skills and that charm and all that sex appeal! I am so happy he is in Kingdom, it really pushed him out into the world, that's how I discovered him! And I am so glad I watched that show, even though I don't watch horror/gore usually.
The fact that he acted as a Crown Prince in Goong in 2006, and then a completely different role in Lucifer in 2007 shows what an exceptional actor he is, on top of being the SEXIEST MAN ALIVE Good god.
Loved this movie so much. I put it in my watchlist after watching Kim Mu Yeol being sexy as fuck in The Gangster, the Cop, and the Devil, but everyone else's acting was amazing, the story was tragic but also interesting. The music in the movie was incredible in building/adding to the eerie vibe. I kept predicting and guessing the plot and it kept me interested and on edge throughout.
Unexpectedly I loved this show so much. Some thoughts on the main things I noticed: Shin Goon was portrayed accurately by Ju Ji Hoon, as a lonely, arrogant, confused, silent, broody, jealous Prince, and he has no idea how to accept his feelings or to show them. He warms up slowly, and his behaviour change when he is around his wife vs when he talks to other people is so subtle. It really shows how he's actually been changed by the heroine for the better, making him more human. The Princess, very annoyingly childish, but honest, courageous, brave. She tries to bring a cheerful attitude in the castle, which was irritating at first, but then came to be appreciated by everyone around her and was welcome in the Castle, and also ultimately brought out the true self in Shin, which was nice. The two second leads, well, they were morons. Not much to discuss there. Overall, I really liked the show, although it was a bit draggy in some parts. But being set in 2006, this is a masterpiece honestly. I now understand why people swooned over Ju Ji Hoon. He was so fucking cute in the show, very handsome!!
- 'that show was reality , in the past I'm in the same situation like female and understand her' Understanding a character doesn't justify the character's bad behaviour. Obviously you must've had your reasons in your personal life which is totally fine of course, but she didn't deserve JCW according to me. I never said the show wasn't trying to depict reality, it's just that it wasn't depicted in a way that I root for their relationship to work out. As the audience I'll always be ready for her to abandon him at the first sign of inconvenience in the future, while he stays waiting for her, eventually out of obligation more than love. It's massive injustice to his character in my opinion.
- 'that drama was psychological drama and not cup of tea for everyone' A bit of a patronising statement tbh, I've seen many psychological dramas where the character does horrible things, but in a way that justifies their character, and I root for them and for their story. One very easy example is My Ahjussi. IU's character does everything wrong to the nicest male lead ever, but her actions and thoughts were visible to the audience so that her character was cheered on, not despised. Even the loan shark (played by Jang Ki Yong) is arguably one of the 'true villains' but even for him I hoped for a good ending, because his thoughts and actions warranted redemption. I never saw a shred of that happening towards EO in Lovestruck, and even towards her best friend (who cursed at her boyfriend simply for trying to steer her towards a more stable life). I'm not hating on your comment btw, just trying to explain why the show genuinely disappointed me, and this is all my opinion, nothing else.
In Lovestruck, I'm not a fan of the lead actress at all either, so her character was even more unlikeable to me. And nothing could've justified her horrible treatment of him, not her past, not a 'mistake', nothing. The only dramas I have ever re-watched are CLOY and IOTNBO. Never repeated any other drama, but Suspicious Partners can definitely be repeated, maybe someday! Also wow just fyi, I saw your profile, it's amazing honestly. Must've taken you a long time to build it, looks great!
I couldn't agree more with each word you have said, honestly. Melting me softly was a good sci-fi, but I feel the concept was wasted on a boring story. But those two kissing scenes tho, WOW lol. Lovestruck could've been so much better if two of the lead female characters were written to be less selfish and idiotic (the 'serial dater' was amazing, the other two girls were horrid). The concept of the show otherwise was really unique. And let's not talk about Backstreet at all. What even was that show lol. The only good thing was that the female lead was obsessed with him and wanted to treat him right. The one thing that was common in the last two was JCW's kicked-puppy desperate-for-love character, which really doesn't suit his handsome face at all!!! He deserves a love story where his character is worshipped. His acting is always amazing, but the story should have some strength too!
I think 'meh' is an understatement to be honest. Im a hardcore JCW oppa fan (note my profile gif) and I love him so much, so I can understand and appreciate his need to not make himself into a cliche action star/actor (even though he does it SO well). But his recent scripts deserve more scrutiny before selection, thats for sure.
