If this show had not been drastically cut by six episodes I am fairly certain that I'd be giving it a higher rating. I'm still giving it a fair rating because of the potential it had to be great. This show was cute, funny and silly (which I enjoyed). The acting and story were all good and yet it did not receive high ratings and ended up getting cut early. What makes the cut even worse then your typical cut is that 8 out of the supposed to be 16 episodes had already aired when it was announced that the series would be ending in 10 episodes instead. Thus, leaving the wirters with just two episodes to wrap everything up. The show was going so great and then all of a sudden you are hit with a rush job that did not do the show justice and frankly ended in a bit of confusing matter. The show is still very watchable though and I really enjoyed it minus the last two rush episodes.

This movie was beautiful. It was dark and honest. The acting was amazing and I admit to crying more than once. I felt a closeness to just about every character and longed for a happy ending for all of them. This film captured every feeling so well and somehow amidst all the sadness there was so much beauty.

Short and sweet. How refreshing!!!! There are soooo many dramas that are good but drag on for soo many unnecessary episodes and I wish some of those shows would learn something from this show. In just four episodes they gave me a a good storyline and characters that I grew to care about. I really enjoyed this drama and Lee Ki Kwang is soooo cute I was kicking myself for having never really paid the individual B2st members much attention because he is soooo cute. lol!!!

I loved this movie a lot more than I thought I would. Just when I thought it was a certain kind of movie it kicked me in my heart.(not in a bad way) I admit to crying like twice because I was so moved and it was such a good movie. Maybe it's rating is more of an 8 overall but I don't make crying during movies a habit so I had to give it a 9 just for being able to make me feel all these feelings. I felt very close to the main characters as well as the younger brother.

This was a weirdly interesting film. Do not let the synopsis deter you from watching because at first glance it may seem as if the synopsis is telling the whole movie but I think that's what they want you to think. In actuality the story is more complex than it seems and it's not just your typical possession movie. This movie was pretty good. It may have been confusing at times but as the story progressed things started to come together. Perhaps the ending could have been better but the overall movie was a lot better than I had expected it to be given the synopsis.

I went back in forth in my feelings for this drama. From about episode 1-7 I was really into it. Then I thought it was ok. I wanted to quit watching by episode 17 or 18 but I had invested so much time I powered through it. The last few episodes made up for the times I wanted to quit watching as they were fairly good episodes.
I felt that Leader Moe and Jae Hwa were phenomenal characters who I felt like I really got to know and love but the downside to that is that I wish I felt as strongly about Shin Jung Tae who is the main character. It wasn't until towards the end of the show that I started to appreciate his character more. I love a good fight scene but I got tired of seeing Shin Jung Tae fight everyone all the time and on top of the fighting I had to watch him train to fight too. I got bored. I felt the spark it had when it started disappeared and then made a comeback right at the end. They had good characters that they could have done more with and bad characters they should have done less with. Sometimes I would laugh at the logic behind why some of the characters were doing what they were doing mostly because there was no logic. What the show tried to pedal as romance was lackluster as well.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when a drama or even a person says they are going to do something and then they don't deliver.
(my examples are just examples btw) Example: if you say it's a fight to the death then someone should actually die or it's not really a fight to the death and you shouldn't call it that, if the doctor says you have 1 week to live you shouldn't magically be healed. These feel like lies to me. This show had a habit of making the stakes high for certain characters and then not delivering, letting me get all worked up for nothing. Of course I hate to see any character I love die or get hurt but don't make me cry over spilled milk if your actually not going to spill it.
All in Alll if the show were just 18 episodes I would have liked it better. I felt some episodes and parts of the storyline I could do without and it made the show draggy often.

This is a good drama. It is very silly and lighthearted and if you are looking for something more thought provoking this isn't it. But if you are in the mood for silly fun and a few good laughs then you will really enjoy this drama. Yes, it is over the top but I kind of liked that about it. After watching the lead actress in Switch Girl I had to watch this. That show was just as silly and over the top but even better so if you like this show you will love that one.

This should really be called The Love Triangle Hotel......or The Thirst Hotel.
Though I did read the synopsis and knew that there would be a love triangle it really did take precedence over the whole drama. If you were looking for a good mystery and a hotel full of people with secrets then you are bound to be disappointed with this drama because though there are secrets afoot , this drama focused primarily on this love triangle. The first few episodes were good and I had a good couple of laughs in between even when I started to get annoyed with where the show was going and overall it wasn't an awful show in my opinion.
Now in terms of the thirst, it was just a bit too real for me at times. Obsessing over someone whose just not that in to you is the kind of thirst I am referring to. I can't make references to all of the blatant thirst without spoiling things but I can say that there are some characters who have been blatantly told through words, actions, or both "I don't like you" and their failure to process this as a sign to move on really baffles me. I know some people find these kinds of situations cute or funny but for me there is almost nothing more frustrating then a person that does not take no for an answer and continues to stalk you and interfere in the love life you are trying to have that does not involve them. This is called thirst and it's not cute. lol!!! I also got fed up a few times with the childish antics of the ex but I cannot go into detail on that one.
While about 85% of this drama revolved around a love triangle the other 15% revolved around the murder mystery. Which was a bit too much of the former and not enough of the latter for me. Everything unfolded pretty quickly in this drama and then took ages to wrap up. By the time things started to wrap up I frankly just didn't care anymore and had already figured out the big whodunnit before they even disclosed it.
So in a nutshell this drama is not bad and I'd say it's just ok because I had alot of laughs and there were some cute moments I really enjoyed.Perhaps if the drama was wrapped up sooner and the murder mystery wasn't so poorly executed I would have really liked this drama. They focused so much on this love triangle that all the all the questions you really want answers to barely get answered until the tail end of the show.In fact, I still have an unanswered question or two.
So if you enjoy love triangles, thirst and having no clear answers until the very end then this drama is definitely the one for you ;)

I really liked this show up until about episode 14 or 15....then it started to drag a little for me but picked back up around episode 17. But overall it was still a really good show that just didn't need to be 18 episodes. I loved Na Eun Sul's character. I found Jiheon's kind of childish behavior to be very cute and endearing and I do think the show is worth watching. Oh and I love that Apink song-let us just love (I think that's what it's called) that they played throughout the show.

A poor man's Answer Me 1997. If you saw Answer Me 1997 then you will notice the character similarities and storyline similarities which for me make this drama almost pointless. If you never watched Answer Me 1997 then you may like this drama. There were some good moments but the story really drags out the husband mystery to the point where you stop caring. Around episode 16 or so I started to get bored. The acting was good and I liked the actors but not the storyline. Yoon Jin was a lot like Shi Won from the previous show and Bingrae a lot like Hoya's character and they recycled the childhood friend/growing up together idea and basically the whole thing felt recycled. It wasn't awful but it did lack imagination.

This was a great movie. The story was very good and the two main actresses playing the sisters were amazing. This movie left me with a lot of feelings. I felt very connected to to these two sisters. One who will do anything to fulfill her dream of going to America and having a better life and the other who puts her family before herself. The only thing I would complain about is the American actors were bad, not terrible but not good and when next to such an amazing korean cast they mite have even seemed like worse actors then they really were but the movie is so good that this is not enough to bring the movie down at all, just thought I'd mention it though because it may be the reason why some people didn't like the film.

Watched the anime a long time ago and loved it(never read the manga). Most live action adaptations rarely ever do the original anime or manga much justice but this film was different. It was very good and kept pretty true to the anime. Some things were cut here and there but it didn't bother me too much. Obviously, only so much can fit into one movie. And the violence was done very well. Everything looked the way it was supposed to. I wasn't taken away with the cast but they were not bad. I'm not really the emotional type but the onion kid scene gets me every time. Whoever played him was great.

I'm writing this review only half way in to the series but I think I've seen enough to know what I like and don't like. This is a good show and I love Rain but I find that dramas featuring popular musicians are often overrated and judged more by love of the artist rather than the actual drama.(like, "A Love To Kill"-seriously overrated in my opinion). This drama however is actually pretty good. It's one flaw is repetitive antics that stop being funny or cute after the third time you see them. Like the back and forth name calling and then Ji Eun's 2 childhood friends really sickened me and I got so sick of them scheming for money and being blatantly disrespectful. What they do in the first episode is unforgivable and I don't think they were properly reprimanded for it. And I'm understanding of the fact that this is an old drama and I'm watching it in 2014 but the fashion is horribly tacky. Even in 2004 I don't think it was ok to have your bra hanging out like Hye Won. And it does take a bit too long for the leads to inevitably get together. Other than that it is a pretty good drama.

I really hate musicals but I was bored and gave this movie a chance and I really liked it. I even enjoyed all the musical numbers and found them to be cute and funny. I think the fact that someone who hates musicals as much I do (trust me, I hate them..lol!!)found this movie to be enjoyable says a lot about it. It's not great or anything but it is good and has a good serious storyline along with some silliness. I was bored and put it on on a whim and was pleasantly surprised.

This poor man. He really did go through a lot. When back tracking and watching an older film after seeing soooo many new ones you don't always appreciate a movie or drama for what it was in its time but in thus case even about 15 years later this is still a goi npand powerful film. The way it is told in reverse makes this backwards journey that much more intriguing. As things happened to the main character I kept thinking wow, that was bad...wonder what happened before that. I watched this movie on a whim and I'm glad I did.
