Well you can kind of explain that from the POV that if he is Kunwu, he has thus far played a meticulous, almost flawless game. What bugged me a bit is that he referred to Kunwu in the third person more than once in his latest conversation with Milan in the church. It could of course just be poorly written dialogue but at this stage of the story, I hope not.
