Title The Double
Ai Mi is too young, she is lack of charisma to play character with deep layer of emotion. She need more years…
I make fun of the fan bc its quite ridiculous of course as you point out. And yet, one of the most famous classic wuxia characters Gu Long's Chu Liuxiang uses a fan. It is a well established weapon of choice in wuxia with fantasy elements. The fan is hardly the greatest stretch of the imagination in the genre as there are many fantasy like martial arts abilities. It is true this is not a wuxia BUT this is a Yu Zheng drama where butteflies, snowflakes and apsara's fly out of guqin. He is known for high theatrics and melodrama. It is not a serious historical at all it is even set in a fictional dynasty. So take it all with a pinch of salt.

So it’s his sister that accidentally hurt the real Bian Jie in 1993, however the ending shown he got away while…
Lol... I think everyone wants to think Xiao Qi is Wang Shitu's son. Even Wang Shitu and his entire team. So why don't they do a DNA test? Its the obvious thing to do. Unless the DNA test that Wang Shitu already did on him rules out Xiao Qi as his son (ie. blood type). Or maybe they did do a DNA test and are just waiting for results?

Title Lost in the Shadows Spoiler
Now I’m wondering if Bian Jie is innocent and it’s Du Yi who actually killed Wang Shuai! The way and the things…
That was Du Yi's flashback and he could have chose to imagine the story he would tell. He was broke at the time but he said he would get the food. I think he BBQ-ed Wang Shuai's dog, which is why they got into a fight. The only thing that doesn't make sense is why Bian Jie would run away with him if Di Yu stabbed Wang Shuai. And also why Bian Jie has the murder weapon. So I think its possible that Du Yi did it but I still think its more likely Bian Jie.

I think Lao Jin may be telling the truth about Bian Jie being adopted. I think initially he tried to get rid of…
Its just one theory. It is also possible he is Wang's son, there are certainly enough hints that is the case but it also could be a red herring.

He is a morally grey person. I am sure he did something to the real Bian Jie.
Rong Zishan is The Bad Kid!!! 😅😂😂😂
Idk the noodles but the kids were friends. Maybe they ate noodles together. Or maybe Doudou is really the fat kid friend of Xiao Qi that died.

If the camera angle is different it will measure differently - most mathematicians can tell you this. As for shoe size it is easy to shrink by about half size if you exercise a lot. Athletes feet can shrink so if he is on the run 3 years he can have marginally smaller feet.

And that is why China lost so many wars! History makes sense!!!!

And drunk state🤪... wander if he was on top form, would he get wounded?
No one will care that it’s a very odd thing to do in ancient China.

I think it’s hinted from the Chinese title - the boy with no shadow; i.e., the boy that doesn’t exist.

Title The Double Spoiler
If her brother and father are alive, she’ll come clean to them hopefully. So she’ll just be Ah Li to everyone…
Yeah but the easiest way to convict SYR for murder is for XFF to remain dead and her real family can sue him for murdering their daughter. I think the Princess story arc is tied up in Duke Su's revenge arc which is hopefully the next arc but its not fully revealed yet.

Ye Shijie is the son of the Eldest Ye brother but both his parents are dead. So JL and he are first cousins on the maternal side. In those times, they are allowed to (and frequently do) marry.

I am A-ok with him getting wounded if that results in a shirtless scene...

The tension between them was oooof very good. Even if they were not kissing it felt like they were kissing. Everytime…
I always find the almost kiss a lot better. Especially in c-drama where 90pct of the time, the real kiss is a dead fish kiss.

Title The Double Spoiler
It would be too cruel to tell the Ye family what really happened to poor Jiang Li. And she has no interest in…
I understand that POV as well. I just can see it will cause many problems. Duke Su is from a noble family, probably remotely related to the emperor. It won't be easy for him to marry a divorcee or the wife of a scandalous man. And if she didn't die, SYR is not a murderer, he is just an adulterer. Except in ancient China a successful man can have affairs and take concubines/many wives. Its not really a crime. If XFF did not die, how will she indict SYR and for what?
