Couldn't agree more. Can't imagine many other actress in this role with the hidden resentment underneath her elegant smile and demeanor. Not to mention how she is scaring the pants off her ex. YCY was not annoying in this show for once but this is not a role she is anywhere near being able to pull off.
I almost died of laughter when Xue Li told poison lady - I am just not that into him like you are!!!! I think what is great about this story is at this point the FL has no interest in Duke Su. Only during the archery lesson she became somewhat aware of him but that's about the sum of it. Some really bad, dark shit happened to her and she has to avenge herself and the real Jiang Li. No time for fan-girling over eye candy distractions even if they look superb in red.
Fabulous and heart felt review, definitely not even remotely bot-like! Even though I acknowledge the unbalanced pacing, future viewers who watch all three seasons in one go will not notice any of it (assuming S3 finishes strongly).
