First of all her hands were tied in front of her and it didn't look like it was that tightly bc she was able to move them around. Secondly her hubby was terrified he probably didn't hit her hard enough to kill her. Murder is hard and smacking someone on the head with a shovel doesn't necessarily get the job done. Third, the idiot threw a flute down on top of her! She probably used it to breathe while she shoved and kicked the loosely pack dirt out of the way. Would have been much harder if the idiot put her in a coffin that was nailed shut. I didn't think her escape was implausible at all and definitely would not call it a plot hole.

The maid is played by one of the most promising young actresses in c-drama. Anyone that doesn't know that is tacky. She doesn't take anything away from the FL who is fabulous in her own right.

Spot on!!! And as much as I am all for girl power, let me just tell you no one and I mean NO ONE, bitches, whines and moans when its a "female centric" drama. They just do cartwheels with ecstasy that women are kicking butt. Why can't we be fair and enjoy it both ways??? I honestly am tired up to my eyeballs with all the girl power shows. They are now so much the norm and no longer the exception that they mostly bore me to tears (yes I am looking at you, Blossoms in Adversity, most overrated by MDL drama of 2024). Gimme more male centric dramas like JOL for a change!!! I am A- ok with them writing stupid female characters in male centric dramas bc they already write plenty of stupid female characters in female centric dramas.
