It was stupid to make Chen Shufa terminally ill when it should be Fei Ke. The ending made it seem like the baddest guy there won bc he got his revenge on Fei Ke and he is dying anyway so it means nothing to send him to jail. At least in the novel, there was an attempt at atonement on Fei Ke's part and He Shan was working with him to get everyone together. And then the finale was just that dumb so they could shoot an tragic romantic Titanic death scene starring JBR. Stupid vain director! That's why I ended up rating it 8.0 even though up to episode 6/7 it was an 8.5/9.0 for me.

Yeah I think the monk is probably a good guy but there are lots of questions as to how and why his piece ends up tattooed on WJL's back. Don't forget some off the Discipline chief's disciples were bad guys. So we don't know yet if he is from the Dharma division, that is just the best assumption at this point.
