JOL is a male centric harem story. The novel opens with him lamenting on his deathbed that he is dying a virgin and never experienced the joy of life; ie sex. When he is reborn he goes on to rectify that and has many affairs with many women. That part is changed in the drama for obvious reasons. I think I may have attempted JOL right after I finished NIF and I ended up dropping it!😅😂 NIF2 is also not as good as NIF but it is really too under loved bc most people expect it to be the same level! I think its quite inevitable you get more discerning over time. There is lots of stuff I just can't watch anymore.
