I think the leads may survive but poor Shisan won't. Which is why there is a Ning Shisan kid in the cast list. It's unusual to name a kid after a living person. Either that or NYZ dies too and she is just left with the kid. But bc there is a kid, I think Ruyi survives for sure.

I have seen a few written articles indicating that it will be a BE on sites like Netease and Sina. I didn't read them in detail bc I don't want to be spoiled but I don't think haters are just making stuff up to be malicious. The production probably wants to manage audience expectation and is leaking hints. It probably won't be as bad as the articles suggest but directionally it is probably right. Just from the way the plot is evolving and the hints from within the drama itself, I expect many of the team will not make it to the end.

Yes bc these are already committed. But once they have movie success they rarely do dramas bc it pays so much better. Like Zhu Yilong, Hu Ge, Lei Jiayin, Liu Haoran etc, you very rarely see them in dramas anymore. Maybe once every 1-2 years, not counting the propaganda dramas bc those they have to do but no one wants to watch.

He's just the best. I am happy to see him get movies now but sad that he will soon leave to do mostly big screen which just take longer time to get to watch online.

Oh that's perfect then! I think its especially relevant to China /Asia where there is such a huge focus on academics and its sink or swim. Like no one cares that much about the kids that are left behind.
