Which early scene? All of this was in ep 1 and 2. The first scene that intros the main lead always contains very important clues. When NYZ was introduced it was revealed he was shot in the back by his own side - so there is bound to be a traitor arc. In MJTY when the ML was introduced, the woman with him ended up being very significant.

The other possibility that I also suspect is that it was Jiang Qiong, the one that was captured and sent back to ask for the ransom but he is a bit too obvious to be the hidden traitor.

NYZ himself realized that they may have lost that war bc they were betrayed. And someone shot him from the back. None of his present team was on the front lines with him. So its most likely be one of the dead dudes and someone with a high position. Chai Ming was head of Heaven Path who protects the emperor. All they found were some of his clothes on a corpse and his badge...

I believe LYN dubs himself most of the time. LSS was criticized on the Chinese internet for being a veteren actress that cannot dub herself but I think there is no way she could have pulled it off well so I am ok with it. I just wish the dubbing job was done a bit more carefully in terms of matching the lip movement. But it is probably so off bc their natural speaking voices are very different.

Yeah Qiao Feng was IMHO Jin Yong's most complex hero. But none of the adaptations do him justice. Sword of Yue Maiden was a good story that is a bit under appreciated. Anna Holmwood has started to properly translate Jin Yong's popular novels. Although it is atrocious that she took the liberty of renaming some of the famous characters, her translations are still pretty good.

Yeah that was also pretty terrible but at least he doesn't have much screentime.

I think the writer means to give LTG a redemption arc so I doubt he will do something so beyond redemption.

maybe Chai Ming isn't really dead and he did betray Heaven Path/Liudao Tang. Maybe even was the one that shot NYZ in the back.

LSS has been dubbed here - she has a very soft and borderline babyish voice that would not match the authoritative and cold voice of drama Ruyi. So a lot of credit has to be given to the voice dubber. You can see the lip movement doesn't really match - its mildly irritating for me since I don't need subs I just listen.

I highly doubt LTG would live to tell after a wedding night with Ruyi.

It is a totally gila kind of obsession. I give the writer top marks for uniqueness and bottom marks for making any logical sense! It’s also getting really tedious I am really tired of watching his tantrums.

Yeah the plot is a bit disappointing but the character stories are interesting and of course Bai Lu and Ni Ni have great chemistry.

Yeah similar to Parallel World there is a lot of romance and character development but very little plot movement.

I suspect the one they showed in the drama is an artistic rendition that doesn't really work. I have seen them in various museums but they don't work anymore.
