Title My Journey to You Spoiler
Well SJ was obviously distracted by YZ's injury and everyone else was at the Lantern Festival. No better time…
She probably snooped around in Ziyu's residence first and stumbled into Lady Wuji. Idk exactly what happened there but once she saw Wuji was injured, she was emboldened bc she knew everyone would congregate there. That leaves the coast clear for her to poke around in the weapons lab. She may even have attacked Wuji so that SJ would head there to deal with it. That part is still not clear yet.

Title My Journey to You Spoiler
any idea what SGQ was doing in her black assasin clothes and fighting with xiao hei?
Well SJ was obviously distracted by YZ's injury and everyone else was at the Lantern Festival. No better time than to snoop around in ZS's weapon's lab - she has been gathering intelligence on the weapons side. She assumed it would be empty, not knowing about Xiaohei.

Title My Journey to You Spoiler
I dunno abt the rest but abt Wuji, my guess is she’s Wuming and she was writing the words herself. Just when…
Well it would be quite consistent with their strategy of sending lower level assasins (disposable) in there. She was there for 20 years with only one piece of intelligence so I guess she never levelled up?
Yeah me too, too many open plot points, they need to start closing them soon.

Both hua2 gongzi and hua gongzi can be correctly used. Pretty sure if you stick θŠ±ε…¬ε into Google translate it will give you either playboy or dandy.

I still don't believe anything that's spewing out of her mouth until we actually get a backstory about her.Maybe…
Well I am pretty sure Qian is from Gansu and Yun is from Qingfeng. And this has something to do with Zhuo Mei's story. There are lots of other clues that point to it.

I don't think he was formally introduced yet but since all the others were, by elimination he has to be Hua Gongzi. Which in Chinese means playboy. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜˜

True but I think Qian's birthmark is hard to fake. So at least that part is probably true.

It was a spoiler that many people who watched trailers happily went around spoiling as many people as they could on. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈThat said, even if that is the case, I don't think he is old enough to be Wuming. I think there are two antagonist factions running around inside the Gong fortress. One is internal and the other external (Wufeng). I think elder Yue's murder was intended to expose Wuming and pin all the murders on them/Wufeng. This is causing Wuming/Wuji to panic and she staged an attack on herself to try to prevent herself from being exposed as Wuming. It wasn't well executed, showing she is not that smart. According to the cheat sheat Wuming was a Mei level spy. But I think the person who killed Elder Yue is someone else, possibly someone that has nothing to do with Wufeng.

Title The Long Season Spoiler
i appreciate all your previous comments and review about this drama, your explanation of the backdrop setting…
Chao Yang is the scariest villain I have encountered in a long time. And I think how he is a mirror character for Zhang Dongsheng and the way they kind of bond because of that is super spooky as well. I didn't empathize with Shen Mo even though her story is more empathetic than Chao Yang's. Maybe its bc The Long Season doesn't focus on the kids or maybe its bc of the acting.

Lol - three old dudes doesn't really resonate with most audiences. I think you can clearly see the evolution of the directors work when you watch the two dramas. Instead of showing us the story from the kids perspective, he shifts the focus in this one to the adults. I think as a pure mystery and in terms of an ending that chills and stays with you, The Bad Kids is better. But I think The Long Season is a deeper, broader and more profound story where the mystery is a lot more straightforward. They are both fantastic must watch dramas. I can't wait to see what he comes up with next.

Thank you for your kind comments and for reading. If you like this genre, you should check out The Wind Blows from Longxi? Its Chen Kun and Bai Yu so the acting is also top notch, It is another heavy political ancient spy drama. The first 4 episodes are tough to get through but after that its very good.
