I agree that the moment Susu fell for TTJ is... not obvious. And it's not even obvious if she truly loved him…
From the book reader comments it sounds like they whitewashed TTJ, who was a lot darker in the novel. I suspect they were just plain lazy and never bothered to rewrite Susu. But even TTJ in the later arcs isn't as well written but Luo Yunxi still managed to elevate the character beyond the script. I think Bai Lu never managed to do this, she kind of stuck to what she had to work with. She did a great job but she could have taken it to another level but yes, the main fault rests with the writers.

It was early on - I think episode 2 or 3. It was very brief, she quickly changes the topic. As for what is going on with her "brother"I think its too hard to guess at this point.

They are probably related. Someone already busted her martial arts in an earlier episode as a technique that Lingyuan does not teach to non-family members. She is probably his sister or his cousin sister. I'd be surprised if Yun Xiang hasn't already figured this out. I think Mo Bufan as well from all his snide hints.
