The problem with xianxias is the bitch is dead is soon followed by the bitch lives again. Nobody ever gets killed dead, they keep popping up to give new meaning to Jack in the Box. Of course the good part is the leads also get multiple do overs but sometimes, its exhausting so I don't know...

Yes indeed she did - it was pretty terrible I had to drop it. Apparently it ruined an amazing novel. Am not surprised she is only getting support roles now.

I wouldn't go so far as to say boring I am enjoying the dynamics between the two leads. But I am really disappointed by Tian Huan being such a cliche character and the misunderstanding plot being so cliche. Its like they want to rush through this arc and didn't bother to try to make her schemes less obvious and transparent. That part of it I couldn't agree more, is super boring. But the rest in terms of how they go after the Devil God etc is quite interesting.
