She has in fact dubbed herself well in other dramas. Pointing out she hasn't done it as well here is not an attack against her or a broader statement you seem to impute on dubbing in general. I only have a slight preference actors dub themselves but I care more that its done well. Its a much higher annoyance factor for me bc I rely on listening I prefer not to read subtitles.

She is dubbing herself but she is not doing that great a job of matching her own lip movement.. She is a very good actor but I am not enjoying her acting here.

I found the wedding a bit strange - like he wasn't in Qiang costume and looked so out of place. And her mom and none of their friends were even there. Not one. Anyway glad you enjoyed.

It’s fine for him to make that promise. But a better person would have at least asked him to be happy without necessarily outright giving him permission to move on. She just shows her worst self. As others have commented she was always a very selfish person. I did enjoy most of the drama but maybe more the soundtrack. The story is nothing special been done before too many times. Chinese love tragedies.

Yeah I think she definitely died and most likely at the lake. And I don’t think XH has another relationship in him either but it should be his choice. I just think they made her so selfish right up to the end that I didn’t feel sad for her I actually realized didn’t like her at all. It just ruined the show for me. Oh well, maybe XH can find himself a nice man instead.

Yes you are right, she is a selfish character, she always was. But Xiao Han never calls her out on her bad behaviour either. But I gave her credit for somewhat growing up when she seemed to have accepted her fate and begged her mother to move on. I hoped she would also at least show some of the same consideration for Xiao Han. Me bad - I was hoping for some character growth... I think they should have stopped at wait for me and left the all that even if I don't return bits out.
