Its a tired trope there are too many iconic Chinese love stories around that trope. I wish they had gone somewhere different with it. Like even if she turns evil and kills him dead or marries BCF and gangs up with him against SMZ it would be better than leaving her violated, bitter and alone or joining a nunnery. But oh well.

LS knows he can overcome Fu one on one but Fu is only Youqiao's errand boy. Disappearing Fu changes nothing for LS when the Chancellor has already ordered him dead. He still has to square up with Youqiao. He f-d up big time in not killing Guan Qi. Everything was fine until Guan Qi revealed 6.5's weapons business. Before that 6.5 and Drizzle were just rival sects. Now Drizzle wants to stop the arms business and if they figure out the Chancellor's involvement, they can topple him for treason. This is not something LS can make go away by simply killing someone. He has to take down SMZ and DFJ has to help him. It is very dangerous bc I am not sure even if they both join hands they can beat him. I think SMZ will kill one or both of them and there goes the doomed romance between LC and SMZ.

If that happens then House Drizzle will take over the weapons trade from 6.5 Hall. Bc BCF is a greedy bastard. But Breast Man will probably fight him for the trade.

Her father lied to her. He has no intention of leaving the capital which is what LC means when she asked SMZ to let him go. Lei Sun has to restore the weapons supply. The only way he can do that is to kill SMZ which he is going to try to do. If he can't do that, the Chancellor/Fu will kill him. SMZ is a patriot, he will not allow the weapons supply to continue even for LC.
BCF already indicated a willingness to work with Fu. That is the source of his quarrel with SMZ.

I think the Chancellor is the main villain. He is supplying weapons to Liao for money and is traitor to his own country. Has to be the biggest bad guy as in the one at the top pulling all the strings. But since he can't fight, I think your breast man and 13 Doom are the ones the good guys have to fight in the final showdown. It is also quite clear BCF will be one of the bad guys as well, potentially even the biggest baddie but not sure where exactly he fits in yet. The weak link about this drama so far is there is no "hero" or maybe its SMZ. Bc WXS has no goals, he just wanders about recovering scented pouches and wrestling chesty men and he even lets his sword choose his girl.

They don't have a choice. The Chancellor/Youqiao head has ordered Lei Sun/Liufenban to be eliminated for failing to deliver the weapons. Fu begged for a second chance for them but they have to restore the weapons flow to Liao. They can't do that now that SMZ /Drizzle knows what they have been doing and is standing firmly in their way. The only way out to unclog the blockade is to kill SMZ. Bc they already know BCF is corruptible and with proper incentive will even help them.

So apparently he Li Yifeng was asked to suppress his emotions for the drama. The blank page means he has no dreams, his only purpose is the end drugs. So that is also why he is kind of blank when his kid gets shot and when Su dies as well. Like he is supposed to have no expectations of anything in life.

Yeah not a train wreck overall but a notable sag in many aspects.

Bloody and a much angrier more violent showdown with Luo Xiang. I mean they are like bros and Luo Xiang betrayed him and we barely even see his reaction to that. Not to mention I thought Luo Xiang meant to take revenge for Chen Mo the kid.

I am sorry but I really have a low opinion of BCF from the Guan Qi incident, made worst by his irrational rage at SMZ for saving his sorry ass. Not to mention he is just as happy to work with Fu and by extension Youqiao. He is already no better than Lei Sun and Di Feijing. Not to mention being an entitled prat with delusions of grandeur and an over inflated view of his own capability. Like he never earned his role it was given to him.

That was my initial reaction I was mad they made her faint. But then in the final 2 episodes it looks like she was part of the team trying to diffuse the bombs before Boss Cai pressed the button to set them off. It must have been stressful bc it could have been boom any moment.

Yeah they can set up a second season without killing her, she can just be transferred to a different undercover operation or division. I agree on all the rest. The part that makes me most mad is how they dealt with Long Ge. I also expected it to sag at a bit at the end but the more I think about it the more unsatisfactory it was on so many levels.

I quite like him. He has a better moral code than BCF.
