Well it’s one of the three of them. My vote is to let it be the annoying girl. But I think it’s more likely Su Meng Zhen or Bai Chou Fei.

He still looks good but it’s a bit annoying that he still does that same silly dark stare down in every drama like his chin is stuck to his neck. No one told him it just looks as creepy now as it did 10 years ago.

It’s a story about how an established jianghu legendary martial artist. becomes sworn brothers with two up and coming fighters of the next generation. It would be very strange for Su Meng Zhen to be the same age as the other two.

You must be watching a different drama.

I think Wen Rou is not really a main character, she is not a hero she is a just a fangirl that hangs around heroes. I suspect the box contains a hero so most likely Su Meng Zhen and if not him, then Bai Chou Fei. I think it is Su Meng Zhen bc he is the martial arts legend that the bard is singing about when the 3 amigos first come across him. That will leave Chou Fei to console Lei Chun at the end. So maybe both couples get happy endings. But I didn't read any novel or know any spoilers I have just read and watched lots of wuxia. That's just my personal speculation for now. In short, the girl is not worthy to be in the box.

I wouldn't say it will be a tragedy but it is the closest to classic wuxia that I have seen in years. It is reasonable to expect main characters to die bc they live and die by the sword for their ideals. If you watched Hero, the 2002 Zhang Yimou movie, it is that similar spirit of what it means to be a hero. It is somewhat foreshadowed from the title already.

Idk I just remember dropping her phoenix drama bc of her cringe acting. She has not improved much since. At this point the box is motivating me to continue bc I won’t be that sad if it’s her…

Even though everyone suspects it is Wen Rou, it is also possible that Su Meng Zhen is in the box. He is the hero the bard is singing about when the friends go past him for the first time. Maybe Wang Xiaoshi finds him a good resting place and becomes the next hero.

Yeah I didn't expect them to be this open about it but I already guessed from the title and genre. Heroes tend to die young. Everyone was doing cartwheels about it as WRTW was ending but I was silent bc I didn't want to rain on everyone's parade.

Well can't say we weren't warned.And I kind of expected it anyway. At least they are upfront about it.
