Maybe wait a while to make fast forward more pleasurable as some hateful characters scenes come be skipped. I…
I watched twenty episodes, and half of it was filled with filler and flashbacks. The only characters I like, are Begonia and her brother, and the rouge employee who talks pleasantly with Begonia. The Mother seems to be vacant. Does she have early stages of Dementia?
I am so tired of that voice dub actress who is employed in almost every C-drama. She uses the same voice pitch for all her characters; historical or modern.
The first few episodes were draggy. GHT didn't like LYX from the beginning then suddenly, she marries him? Plus…
This drama should be 36 episodes only, and it might look like a masterpiece. Whenever they add story filler, flashback filler and flashbacking, and turn up the volume on the music and singing, it makes the C-dramas drag forever.
I felt it as well when I saw the trailer. The male lead looks a bit older to be a high schooler which is a shame…
Is he still in high school? I estimated the younger character to be around ten years old. Ten years later, he would be twenty, and in college/university or vocational college, if he can't afford university. Is he a minor? My question is, who has been supporting the boy financially all these years, since the father's death? It did not appear that he had other relatives.
I am watching this drama, but at episode 12, I am now starting to skip episodes. I like Stephy Qi, but her character ranges from petty to professional. I love her voice, and I am relieved that it is not that annoying default female voice actor with the high octave, who "shows up" in every drama. I am guessing that No Secrets is not overdubbed.
I watched the K-drama a few years ago, and thought it was a unique idea for a drama. Watching the C-drama, the idea is no longer unique, and the plot is not original. I like Jin Han, but his acting in this drama does not RAWR me, like Our Glamorous Times.
The major complaint is the excessive music that overlays 90% of EVERY episode. They pump up the volume, drowning out the actors' dialogs, which is very annoying. We are watching a drama, not a concert, OMG. The pianist should be fired. He was playing music nonstop.
I just finished episode 1, and came here to find out about the ML. After I read the reviews, I am shaking my head. It did feel like I was watching Stay With Me, Version 2, and the reviews confirmed it. I barely watched twenty episodes of Stay With Me, and the episodes made me cringe. I don't know if I can stay with 58 episodes of Return the World to You. These fashion MELO dramas should stick with 24 episodes.
