A sweet healing drama but more aimed towards the ones left behind, I think. They did not really explore what was really the reason that makes nara decided to leave, to the point that I am afraid it's on the verge of romanticizing her actions... But I'm willing to overlook that in favor of the uplifting message, to the people who might blame themselves after this situation happens to their loved ones. Something felt a little bit awkward about the characters' chemistry, sometimes it took me out of the story cause they don't really feel like siblings but more like a bunch of boys having sleepover every night ^^; But overall still a very nice watch, like a bite sized bittersweet summer treat.

there was a small romantic insinuation at the epilogue (at the very end of the ending credit of ep 2), but they did not specify who it was

i heard good things about this drama. but when i took a peek at the novel yesterday, the first paragraphs got me instantly nauseous with the ML beating the FL's corpse because he refused to let her die in peace... is there anyone who has finished reading the novel and currently watching the drama that can convince me to watch this? i can accept sad ending but i can not accept toxic protagonist that stayed toxic until the end of the story...

Just started this today and now i'm on ep 6. I'm so confused of the logic of the show. Beishuang insisted to marry the Yunpei lord because she wants to help her people (the masui tribe), but now she's carrying the identity of enaqi so how was she planning to do that? Or was she just in it for the revenge? Bu then why insist to marry him, like how does this marriage benefits her exactly?

It was as if they read last week viewers comments and taking notes, because this week suddenly everyone woke up as a completely new person lol. If i binged this i would've gotten a whiplash.

ep 6 (part1&2):
- i know they must be SO tired but their sleepy look during the trip to the museum are just adorable XD
- despite the time constraint and the semi impromptu nature of the show i think they all did well enough, even victoria's little mishap with the lyrics is totally understandable (i would instantly crumble if i were in her position)
- the birthday surprise was a success!
- rong zishan "who wants to eat michelin?!" XD idk why but that was so funny to me
- agreeing with everyone about the editing and the subtitles; it's all over the place. but, could this situation at the end of ep 6-2 be a prank set up by the production team? i mean the staff barely bat an eye during various mishaps that has happened so far, what makes this particular situation so bad in comparison to anything else?
idk, i haven't watched the previous season of this show, but do they always have the same production team? if any, i think the staff had made way more questionable decisions during the shoot, and they have way more time to plan the trip compared to the mere one-day-in-advance that the chosen 'tour guides' have so far.

I am wondering if it's partly also because they usually travel, especially overseas, with their managers, so things like checking how many luggage should you bring, to the smallest things like parking tickets... Those are common things that are usually not being discussed, but if you often do it by yourself you just know it. Added to the fact that they're dealing with foreign languages, where machine translation often missed many details. Sometimes i think if only they have one member that is fluent in English or any of the local languages of places where they're going, things would be a lot easier for them. But maybe that's part of the charm of the show, we just enjoy watching them struggling ^^;

i know it's morally (religiously? lawfully? politically?) inappropriate for this drama, but, if only justitia was stationed in a country with something like sharia law that allows death penalty for murderer, instead of SK, then it would probably make her job a whole lot easier lol.

The thing that makes me wonder is that, why can't bitna gave a guilty verdict AND THEN punish him with her own system? I guess it will be harder to cover her MO with the whole police and prison's security system guarding the criminal. But then again, with her power and the extensive minion networks, it's not entirely impossible either, right? This way, bitna and daon can work together to punish the criminal both with human law and the law of hell or whatever.

But the drama would not be half as fun as this i guess 😅

It's partly also because it's starting to look ridiculous how bitna keeps giving questionable verdict and getting away with it because conveniently she has powerful backing. With the way the society works now, the judicial system would not be able to withstand too many scrutiny without somebody taking the fall for it. And at the end of the day, bitna would be at the forefront.

I mean, sure, the drama and the whole revenge sequences are delicious to watch, but her plans just have too many risks. And she can't just keep brute forcing her way without repercussion.

I think the bit with the bereaved family in the latest ep kinda explains it. They know the killer is dead, but they're not happy about it. They want the killer to acknowledge his wrongdoing, and beg for forgiveness. But the way that it happens now, the legal system did not acknowlegde his crime, so even though everybody knows he's a killer, justice according to the system that they know of has not been served to them.

Perfect for binge watching is correct. I watched the first 5-6 eps during the release but decided to wait until i binged the rest of the eps last night, 1.5x speed 🤣. That eliminates all the aggravating part of the slow burns for me. But of course, not without skipping irrelevant parts like zhoumo and his bosses and his d*ad ex or sth? The married couple's conflict about buying house and miscommunication could be a good plot, but probably because they're too annoying i just couldn't care less.

iirc bael(?) mentioned how she could end up 'worse than dead' if she develop human emotions.. so i'm guessing, not exactly dead, but could literally be anything else. she could end up being human if they considered it bad enough i guess.

She posted a selfie after Chinese team lost a match? But what kind of selfie that could warrant such negative public scrutiny?

I don't follow chinese entertainment gossips on the local side so i could be wrong, but i heard rumour that c-netz are apparently not happy about zhou yutong's attitude in this show? They called her out for 'talking behind the senior's back' during the first episode, and something about her being a diva about taking photos? I'm confused. Does anyone here have more context about the rumors? Because as far as i'm watching, i found nothing wrong about her at all.

All i hope was that they would not have those weirdly white looking foundation/powder in the middle of their face like what happens in MJTY. Like, any other artistic choice about that drama, i could get behind, except the make up. And seeing that this drama seems to be heading to similar artistic direction... let's hope they'll fix that.
