Apologize for off-topic, but there is a new Korean BL that got rating of 9.0 (Wish You: Your Melody in My Heart)…
I'm sure its a great show but high ratings for new BLs don't seem to mean much. First wave of BL fans who find it are hyped and will rate high. So for comparison with the current situation. CM viewers with scores: 1840 users Wish You viewers with scores: 19 users The critics and droppers just haven't found it yet but they'll arrive eventually. But yeah this show is definitely on my plan to watch list, seems fun. Also I just want to add that at least 1 user has rated CM a 1/10 since first episode (see statistics). I hope the new rating system devalues that sort of scores too.
So it still keeps going down, we're at 8.6 now. This just makes me sad. :(
It makes no sense when you look at the statistics either. Almost everyone is giving 9+ ratings. I hope they at least update the statistics of this show to reflect their new ratings plan so we know a bit more. What I'll be doing is keeping my episode count updated (9/12 episodes watched now) and keeping it at 10/10 rating.
Is there some weirdness going on with the rating? From 9+ to 8.6 so quickly?
Its been a rough time for all highrated dramas. Basically almost every drama has had a rating drop and its much more rare to have dramas with 9+ now. But yeah if we could resolve it we would, nothing has helped and its only gotten worse.
Eng sub is on WeTv officially but rips have been spotted on Youtube. I'd recommend waiting for the fansub from Irozuku though. Likely within 24 hours they will post English sub: https://irozuku.org/fansub/tag/cherry-magic/
