Yes I also loved how they showed Adachi thinking about it instead of just immediately going along with it. It…
Yes it was quite an emotional journey! It took me a full day to completely process it. However, I still can't find the words for it so I'm glad some other users wrote down their thoughts extensively ^^

So, what has been going through my head ever since I've watched the first episode is the symbolism in the opening…
I can't believe I never noticed that ''30'' in the opening shot T__T
Anyway beautiful analysis of the opening scene, thank you! I'll remember this for when the scene reappears in the later part of the series.

I watched raw version 3x because I was trying to understand what they were saying, Vietsub version 2 x and Engsub…
When you're part of this Cherry Magic cult you know a single watching session of an episode can never be enough. The expressions, the different subs, the emotions, the way words are pronounced. Its all part of the experience and can't just be left to one time watching.

I'll change it to sexual harassment. I don't know exactly which term applies but it is without his consent and he is touched by her in a manner which implies sexual desire. I'm not gonna research the details though since it's likely a lot of countries will even define it differently.

Kurosawa holding Adachi tighter at the end when he felt Adachis embrace and that last smile in the side-shot of the bridge get to me every time.

additionally to the watch party for the new episode, I'd love to do a marathon with y'all, where we all watch…
It'd be fun since with episodes 1-7 we don't have to be afraid of spoiling each other (at least, the regular users here) since we've all seen them (multiple times) already.

I have watched the last episode already 3 time but now with the real subtitles) And I am amazed over and over…
Am currently on my 7th rewatch of episode 7 ^^
I wholeheartedly agree, it just feels like a new experience every time I see it. Every eye movement and expression is done with such precision to clearly indicate their emotions. You know that the actors fully immersed themselves into the story when you see it. The care put into the story is just amazing.

Surprised this plot was used. I'm pretty oh the problems. Not saying it doesn't happen, but I feel like this isn't…
Kurosawas problem is not solely him being pretty. Its him being reduced to just a showman for others. Ofcourse that would make him insecure about himself and his abilities. Are people just accepting him for his looks or is he actually worth more than that? Its difficult for him to tell.

Yeah it seems great to be goodlooking but when people can't use your looks anymore, what are you still worth to those people? Kurosawa struggled with that and that is valid. Most of the people he knows would drop him if he lost his favorable position/looks. They don't want to have a bothersome Kurosawa around, they just want to profit from the good side of him. Imagine being surrounded by people like that every day. Kurosawa knows that the moment he breaks he'll be left alone. Also to make matters worse, he was sexually harassed while being complimented on his good looks. So at that point... his emotions are genuine and understandable. As such events leave a huge impact on the emotional state.

He doesn't cry for being pretty and only meeting shallow people. He cries because in the end someone was still there for him even when he failed at work. His insecurities are exposed and yet he's still accepted. Adachi was the one who caught him at his lowest and yet comforted him despite not gaining anything for doing that to Kurosawa.
