Thank you for this! I did know about the English translation but hadn't found a site with all updated untranslated chapters yet. Theres still one from the manga artist I'm missing though and its the kabedon one from Twitter. Guess I'll see the chapter appear eventually
This is a very plausible one! I noticed that scene but I'm simple minded and I never thought much about it lol.…
Lmao same I only thought of the deeper meaning of the scene when I went to rewatch for like the 4th time. I was like... Wait but why did they put in that scene in the first place? Why is Adachi in a hurry? Is there some meaning to him going past himself? I must've seen a lot of time travel dramas lately which is how I got to thinking about what the reason was for cycling Adachi.
Ok I just realised something about the first scene of episode 1! This is not really a spoiler since its just a theory but just in case I'm putting it in spoiler. Mayby it was obvious to some but I didn't really think about it at first.
So episode 1 starts.... You can see Adachi in casual clothes trying to get somewhere with his bicycle (he looks like he's in a hurry) and he rides past himself in a business suit. Business suit Adachi looks at the cycling Adachi and walks on. That's where the story starts right?
This cycling-scene is likely gonna be one of the last scenes. I think its Adachi going to Kurosawa to avoid losing him in some way. I don't see why they would put in that scene unless it was to point out the contrast between him in the past and him in the future. So I'm gonna be rewatching that scene a few more times.
I watched it without English subs. I've seen Taddao Bussaya so I generally know what to expect. It had some fun scenes, lots of guns for some reason and the FL with a giant wig.
I randomly clicked on episode 1 just to see how it is.... and I instanlt REGRETTED THIS BECAUSE NOW I HAVE TO…
Nobody expects that when they first start it. Like I check out every Japanese BL anyway but didn't expect much from the initial synopsis before it aired. I love magic-storylines though so I was ready for it. Then the first episode happened and it was magical indeed.
I wrote a whole big review on this yesterday and just gushed about how much in love I am with the series but something…
Yeah the show uses the right amount of wholesomeness and jokes to make it much more available for new viewers (those not used to BL or LGBT series). Yet it still portrays such a strong chemistry between the male leads.
And yeah they do look like the date-clothes!
