Hm this is just my theory but it could be that they tagged asexual because of Fujisaki. She has expressed no interest in relationships but hasn't outright said they identified as ace. So someone probably just tagged it because of her.

I think I speak for a lot of people here that we feel its cute, wholesome and amazing when the guys are together. So if you don't feel like that then skip and leave it to us to love the show.

True but I think since the show is mostly dependent on the Japanese audience for success that the potential Chinese cancelling culture won't be able to affect it. So I'm happy they at least have that safe position.

Good to hear its popular there too! This will likely give it a huge boost in popularity for Mandarin viewers. They had been relying on fansubs up till now as well. I've seen fansubbed episodes floating around on bilibili (Chinese site) receiving more than a hundredthousand views.
