Wasn't great but I loved the aesthetics of the movie with the futuristic stuff. They really did that part well.

I think there have been Korean BLs on top 5 before but never on first place. It's super difficult to beat the straight romance bighits from Korea. So with Ghost Doctor ending soon there is a chance at number 1 as long as the algorithm doesn't suddenly jump a different straight romance kdrama to the top.

MDL uses a system that we don't know the exact specific of but theres a few important factors that are easily identifiable. Generally the amount of viewers and the rating are both taken into account to form a final ranking of a show.

But yeah some highrated kdramas with thousands of viewers don't show up in top 5. This is usually a mistake on the part of MDL algorithm that usually gets solved after a while with the show suddenly popping up in there. I think a fast rise in ranking for certain shows is slowed to prevent manipulation of the sites ranking. So you'll just have to wait a bit longer to see them and for the algorithm to let it catch up.

I think you'll like this one. It has tension and that enemy to lover trope that everyone lowkey or highkey loves.

I'm a BL fan so I usually pay pretty close attention to any shows where guys are close too. Lots of mermans this year.

That OST is way too addicting. High hopes for this one to get super popular once we get a bit more advancement in the love plotline.

I'm glad the effort to raise the rating seems to pay off. The shows underrated and I think its true strenght is yet to show.
I get that a lot of good BLs are currently airing which heightens expectations for BLs but I do think this show will be worth it.

Kinda a rushed ending but I think that was forseeable with how things were at episode 42. Overall still enjoyed the experience though.

Nice quality on that first episode but I'm interested in 2nd episode more as it will have more content of the two dudes together.

Theres only genderless mermaids until they've undergone that transition to the next phase. In general they will have an androgynous look which can be mistaken for male or female until they go through ''mermaid puberty''.
So yes even mermaids who look more feminine would be able to become a man.
